The format is NOT one and done. We will start out in seeded bracket play based on your final seed from you region. Our goal is to have the brackets up tonight so you can plan accordingly. All teams will play Saturday and Sunday.

We can't thank you enough for putting this together with us and can't wait to see all of you this weekend.

Directors and Coaches-

We just want to say thank you to all of the players, coaches, directors and families for participating in the 2019 Midwest Circuit. It's a huge commitment. We continue to listen to your feedback, take notes, and will continue to improve.

Congratulations to all of the teams advancing to session 5 in Lexington, KY May 18-19. The event is at Kentucky Basketball Academy, 273 Ruccio Way, Lexington.

The Southeast and Midwest are complete and we are beginning the process of confirming teams for session 5. The South Central Circuit wraps up this weekend in Atlanta and the field of 16, in each grade, for Lexington will be set. If you finished 9th-24th, we will be in contact if any team in the top 8 is unable to attend.

We are more excited than ever for 2020 with some improvements we will make and some news we will have to share.

Please feel free to take a look at www.hoopscircuit.com, click on Summer Series, and see the other individual tournaments we have to offer in some of the best facilites in the country.

Chicago Memorial weekend
Lexington June 1-2
Nashville June 15-16
Indianapolis June 22-23
Atlanta July 5-7

Stay tuned.

Be sure to keep an eye on schedules.

Win or lose Saturday you keep playing. On the app there are multiple brackets to fall into. You are playing for place and it is important to complete the entire schedule.

You will only be playing players from your submitted rosters. Playing a non rostered player will result in a forfeit.

Be passionate, be professional. This is gonna be a blast. We look forward to seeing everyone tomorrow morning. Doors will open at 8:00am so all of you that like to arrive at 6:30am to get loose will be doing so in the parking lot. LOL.

Best of luck to everyone and safe travels. #itsjustdifferent

Please forward this to all coaches and parents.

Take a quick look and confirm your game times and locations. We had a small shift in times for just a couple of teams.

Have player documentation readily available with zero excuses.

We are looking forward to having the Midwest Circuit Family back together this weekend. Encourage, cheer, support. Let's have a ton of fun and get after it on the court.

Directors and Coaches-

A couple of important points for this weekends Session 4 of the Midwest Circuit.

1- WE ARE ADVANCING8 TEAMS FROM THE MIDWEST TO SESSION 5!!! We originally planned on 4 but since the Midwest is the biggest it is only right to advance the teams that make it to the final 8 of bracket play this weekend. Here is how it will work.
-- Your first 3 sessions set the seeding for this weekend. If you advance to the elite 8 this weekend, you are in. Let's say a team that qualifies for session 5 says they cannot attend session 5. We then offer their spot to the grade champion. If the grade champion (best record and winner of cross pool game) is in the elite 8, we then extend the offer to the team finishing 9th. If that team were to say no, we extend the offer to the team finishing 10th, and so on. This is why it is critical all teams attend all games as you are playing for place. By the end of this weekend, we can say here is the rankings of the 24 best teams. Your finals results this weekend will also determine your seed for session 5. We will be bringing the final 4 teams from the other regions to session 5 for a total of 16.

-- THIS WEEKEND IS NOT ONE AND DONE!! Let's say you win round 1 and lose round 2... after that loss you drop into another bracket. You will get your games in and even 2 losses does not send you home. The brackets are on the Midwest Circuit app and will be posted at the facilities.

-- We will be at Finch Creek Fieldhouse AND Noblesville Boys and Girls Club. Please pay close attention to your game times and locations. The two facilities are 4.4 miles (about 8 minutes) apart.

All of you have made the circuit the best middle school circuit and we thank you. Let's come in, compete, put it all on the line, and have a blast.

Coaches and Directors-

PLEASE SHARE THIS WITH EVERYONE AFFILIATED WITH YOUR TEAM.

All scheduled games must be played. This year we are playing for place. It is NOT a one and done format. A loss will put you into another bracket. It is important we play for place as it dictates seeding for session 5. It is also a requirement to return to the circuit in 2020.

We have some news coming in regards to Session 5 in Lexington. It is going to be LOADED!!!! Stay tuned!!!!!!

AND NO........YOU CANNOT ADD PLAYERS TO YOUR ROSTER FOR SESSION 4 OR 5. We will be doing more random roster checks next weekend than we've done to date.

Best of luck to everyone competing this weekend.

Email or call with any questions.

Coaches and Directiors-

We will be in touch soon with information on a variety of topics for sessions 4 and 5. The brackets/schedule for session 4 is up. Attendance is still mandatory. This year all teams will play for place. It is NOT a lose and go home format. Failure to attend assigned games will put teams at the back of the line to participate in the 2020 circuit. No adding players to your rosters! We will be closely monitoring this all weekend long with random roster checks.

All of you have made the Midwest Circuit special and we look forward to an incredible session 4.

Stay tuned as we will have more information coming next week.

Thank you,

The Hoops Circuit

Coaches and Directors-

Thank you! We tried something new at session 3 with the cross pool matchups and we want to thank all of you for your flexibility in making it happen.

We have a few weeks off before session 4 which will be seeded bracket play.

1- We will be going through the standings to make sure they are accurate.
2- The bracket game times and structure is already set. It can be viewed online via exposure or through the Midwest Circuit app.
3- This year we will play for place instead of consolation games. It's important to participate in all games at session 4 for seeding purposes for session 5.
4- Session 5. Top 4 teams automatically advance to session 5 to face off against the final 4 teams from our other circuits, at no additional cost. Teams not qualifying will be invited to participate in the classic division at a small team entry fee. We are inviting the other regions as well.
5- NO YOU CANNOT ADD PLAYERS. If you have multiple teams within your program and need a player(s) to play up, that is fine. We will not approve new players being added.

Thank you and stay tuned for more communication over the next couple of weeks.

Please be sure to share this emails with your coaches and parents.

we are still getting questions about the schedule this weekend. FORWARD THIS TO YOUR COACHES AND PARENTS!

Your 3 games are reflected on the app. The moment your 3rd game is finished you will know exactly when and where your 4th game will be. YOU WILL PLAY 4 games this weekend! All 4 games are mandatory to be eligible for the Finals May 4-5!

We are aware there is a glitch in some of the standings. We will have it resolved Saturday night .

Click on midwest circuit app, midwest circuit, your division, brackets, cross pool games to see your 4th game for this Sunday.

safe travels and see you soon.

4/4/2019 9:18 PM

coaches-

Game 4 this weekend is a cross pool game vs the same seed in the opposing pool. 1v1, 2v2 and so on. 4th grade will be 1v2, 3v4, etc. YOU WILL HAVE 4 games And must attend all 4 in order to compete in season. . To project your game times go to the Midwest Circuit app, click divisions, click your grade, click brackets, click cross pool games. As soon as session 3 is complete the brackets will be live for session 4 game times.

Last year losing teams played consolation games once a loss occurred. This year all teams will play for place that will determine seeding in the Championship bracket of session 5 as well as the classic bracket of session 5.

Thanks-

Coaches-

No more un-numbered uni's and t-shirts in place of jersey's. We have 2 weeks before the next event which is time to have gear organized. We are seeing some teams with kids playing in t-shirts that don't match the rest of the team. Some having a handwritten number or no number at all. As we see this moving forward that player will be checked for eligibility and the team is subject to a technical to start the game.

Thank you for understanding.

3/26/2019 5:13 PM

Directors and Coaches-

We have completed two sessions and want to thank all of you, your players and families. We have dropped 2 teams in the 2025 division prior to session II and they will not be returning! We have adjusted the schedule for those teams affected so EVERYONE needs to check their schedules for session III. Be sure to refresh you Midwest Circuit app to see all changes. We are running session III in 3 different facilities so plan accordingly.

Session III:

Your first 3 games are still games within your pool but you will be playing a 4th game! Game 4, which is game 2 on Sunday, will be a cross pool game. For example, if you are the 3 seed in your pool, you will play the 3 seed in the other pool. 5 plays 5, 1 plays 1, 10 plays 10 and so on. The game times are set but until you complete your 3rd game you won't 100% know when or who you play so be proactive that Sunday watching the schedule. Should make for a fun and exciting day.

At the completion of Session III you will immediately know your schedule for session 4 as the brackets will be ready.

Attendance continues to be mandatory and we thank you all for showing up and playing hard. Forward this email to everyone associated with your team. We did do random spot checks of some teams rosters along with age and grade verification and we will continue to do so.

Contact us with any questions.

Thank you and see you soon.

Happy Wednesday.

Looking forward to Session II in Indy this weekend. The 2 facilities are north of Indianapolis. You are going to be blown away by the facilities this weekend. Be sure to check your schedule as the 4th and 5th grade groups may play at each location a time or two. The facilites are 13 miles apart and about a 25 minute drive so please plan accordingly.

Last weekend the Hoops Circuit had 294 games scheduled between the Midwest and Southeast regions. ALL 294 games played as scheduled. We are a NO FORFEIT circuit! While we know you will show, just a friendly reminder that a no show results in removal from the circuit and no refund.

Arrive to your court 20-30 minutes prior to your assigned tip time. We are going to clean up some of the down time between games to be sure we start each round on time.

This weekend we will have a few more things involved with the event.
- more apparel has arrived per your requests.
- WannMillion video production will be present.
- InTheGym Hoops will be available for individual and team videos.
- @JP_Prezzy photography will be available for individual and team photos.
- BallerTV will be streaming games.

Session I was a great kick off. Session II takes it to another level. We are also kicking off Session I of the South Central Circuit this weekend in Nashville. You can follow all of the results from all regions within the Midwest Circuit app.

Safe travels and see you this weekend.

Coaches and Program Directors-

We want to genuinely thank each and every one of you for a huge kick off to the 2019 Midwest Circuit. What a weekend and we are already hyped for this coming weekend. We are happy to announce that we also kicked off the Southeast Circuit simultaneously and it was a success!!

The following 4 items are only going to be addressed this one last time and we request that you send this to each and every person affiliated with your team(s) as you will ultimately be held responsible.

1- Home team wears light color and away wears dark. The home team is listed on the top of the Midwest Circuit app. The are no more of the "we forgot our uni's".

2- Home keeps book, away keeps clock. Those individuals are welcomed to switch if they both agree. Also, make sure the person doing the book keeps fouls and points. We see several score sheets with no fouls being tracked.

3- Be sure to have all player documentation at all times. We are going to be careully monitoring all teams and will conduct random checks. Don't have documentation, that player won't play. Have it handy when requested. You play in the grade you are in or you play up.

4- We do not want anymore schedule requests. We understand things can happen but we want to avoid schedule movements. Always be sure to check your schedule the week of each session.

5-MOSTIMPORTANT

95% of you were tremendous. The 5% is getting cleaned up effective immediately. Our rules and banners have made it clear as to our expectation of conduct from players, coaches and fans. Our conduct policy is as follows:

"During Hoops Circuit games in all venues, every fan is required to comply with the Hoops Circuit code of conduct. Fans who act innapropriately will not be tolerated and are subject to ejection from the venue and/or revocation of their tickets. Examples of innappropriate behavior include, but are not limited to: using abusive language, offensive language or gestures directed at any player, coach, referee, fan or other person involved in the game; making or attempting to make any physical contact with any player, coach, referee, fan or other person involved in the game; disrupting or interupting the game; entering the playing court; throwing objects; or any other form of improper conduct."

As coaches and program directors you are now being held accountable for not only your actions but the actions of EVERYONE affiliated with your team on and off the court. We are all competitive people but the adults set the stage for the kids playing on the court.

SEND THIS TO EVERYONE IN YOUR PROGRAM! PARENTS, COACHES, FRIENDS, WHOEVER PLANS TO ATTEND.

Thank you and we look forward to seeing you all again this weekend. The Pacers Athletic Center and The Finch Creek Fieldhouse are two of the nicest basketball facilities in the country and we have both this weekend.

Thank you,

The Hoops Circuit

Teams will not need to check in but will need to arrive to their assigned court 30 minutes prior to tip. We will be asking for player documentation for those that have not yet provided it to us. Proof of grade, age and a photo. National Sports ID is sufficient as well.

Coaches will check in at the coaches check-in which will be at admissions all day Saturday. Teams get 2 coaches weekend passes and a scorekeepers pass for the weekend. Total of 3 weekend bands per team. Rules can be found on www.hoopscircuit.com under the information tab.

We have had a few requests to play down a grade. NO! You play the grade you are in. Our rules have been and will always be this way. Play your grade, play up, but can't play down. Our rules are posted on our website at www.hoopscircuit.com under the 'information' tab.

Home team needs to have a representative to keep the book, away team to keep the clock. Home team is the team listed first and will wear light uniforms, away team is the team listed second and will wear dark uniforms. Please forward this to everyone associated with your team.

Get players registered for combine testing at www.athletafied.com or by using the Athletafied app.

Conduct of players, coaches and fans is of priority to us. Safe travels to everyone and remember.....#itsjustdifferent.

Forward this to every parent on your team. We would like parents to 'create an account' on athletafied.com or by downloading and registering on the app. Accounts are assigned a bar code that will link to players wrist bands to track their results. Each player will receive a custom backpack tag. There is no cost to the testing and the participants will enjoy it. While we are not assigning testing times, we ask that you complete testing between your 2 games. Saturday testing will be at Kingdom until 4pm, then it will be at Sports Plus the remainder of Saturday and all of Sunday.

Coaches and Directors-

We will be communicating frequently over the next week so please keep an eye on your emails.

Attached is the link to the schedule. You can also download the MIDWEST CIRCUIT app from the app store.
https://basketball.exposureevents.com/118111/the-midwest-circuit

1- We have done our best to accomodate conflicts on the schedule. It's impossible to have the perfect schedule for everyone but we believe we are very close. Please keep an eye on the schedule leading up to the event as we have made a couple of changes overnight. Our plan is to not make anymore changes moving forward but again, please keep an eye on your schedule.

2- MANDATORY ATTENDANCE!!!! This is what makes our format different. You have the schedules well in advance so plenty of time for planning to attend all games. Failure to attend a game results in removal from the circuit at the discrection of the circuit directors with NO REFUND.

3- Roster links. Thank you to those that have submitted your rosters. If you have not yet done so, please complete your roster link over the next few days.

4- Rosters are set once you step onto the court for your first game. No adding the 7 footer you found after session 3. lol.

5- We will be asking for proof of grade, proof of age, and a player photo. As a team, you can scan them in and email them to us and we will upload for you.

6- NBA combine testing. Testing will take place all day Saturday at Kingdom and all day Sunday at Sports Plus. Please have your players download the Athletafied app. You can also register on their site athttps://www.athletafied.com/
The kids really enjoy this and there will be a competitive aspect to it.

7- Keep an eye on www.hoopscircuit.com . The Midwest Circuit tabs will have the schedule, standings, results, etc.

We couldn't be more pleased with the 108 teams we've selected to participate. It's about that time and remember........#itsjustdifferent.
