PQSports Summer Championship Schedule

  • Must wear a mask to enter facility and watch games
  • Must get temperture check
  • May enter 10 minutes before the game
  • Must exit the facility immediate after the game
  • We will allow you to come back in after you game based on crowd control measures.  But you must exit after your game.  
  • No outside food
  • May enter 30 minutes before the game
  • Should wear a mask to enter building. (A mask is not needed during the game)
  • No handshakes after the game
  • Should exit the gym immediately after the game.

What's up Grassroots Basketball Family,

Coaches please input your team roster into exposure basketball. The roster will be used to preprint the tournament's scoressheets.  

We are doing showcase games for age groups 14U - 17U.  Coaches, please use our platform and partnership with @BallerTV to use the video coverage/live streaming to assist your kids recruitability and exposure.

Welcome to the Annual PQSports Summer Championship! Over 85+ teams from across the southeast will be participating in this event. We appreciate your support and thank you for allowing PQSports to host your organization and we look forward to your team enjoying this event.

Team Roster: Teams roster must be completed within Exposure Basketball by Wednesday, July 15th. (Per Scouting-Fully completed rosters will be imperative for the high school teams)

Score Sheets:Scoresheets will be pre-printed by PQSports based on teams roster within Exposure Basketball.

Friday $15, Saturday & Sunday $15
Weekend Pass purchase on Friday $40 for Friday, Saturday, Sunday
Kids 6 & under free

Home Team-TOP TEAM OR FIRST TEAM LISTED. The home team is responsible for the game ball.

Coaches Check-In: Team's head and assistant coach must check in before his/her first scheduled game. Two coaches per team will be provided free entry coaches band. Coaches band must be worn throughout the tournament. If bands are misplaced or not worn on the coach's wrist the coach will have to pay entry fee.

Coach Attire: All coaches must wear apolo styled, collared, or team related shirt.(Shirts that state team fan, team mom/dad, etc. are NOT considered a coaches shirt) Coaches must have on coaches band to sit on team bench during game.

Players: Players must have on team uniform and be on team roster to enter the gym for free and play in the games. Players must play in a minimum of one pool game to be eligible to play in bracket games.

Basketball Balls: Coaches are only allowed to bring up to two balls into the facility. Players/Siblings/Spectators are not allowed to bring a basketball into the facility or dribble the basketball inside the facility

Team Books: Please have team books at check-in and available at all times throughout the tournament. Books should have proof of age, include birth certificate or state ID, and report card.

Game Time: Due to the number of teams, and in consideration of all teams, players, coaches, and staff It is imperative that all coaches, players, and parents make the proper arrangements to arrive on time for all games.

The COVID-19 pandemic has influenced just about every aspect of our day to day lives and travel basketball has been no different. Our PQSports team has been meeting regularly to discuss all possible options and is still laser-focused on providing players with a platform to showcase their talent and get back to competing on the court..

We have been closely monitoring the information being released by the CDC as well as local officials to ensure that we are taking every precaution imaginable to keep our players, coaches, spectators and staff safe while still putting together the world-class standard you are used to with every PQSports event. In order to reach this goal, it will be a team effort involving everybody to minimize risk and provide the safest platform possible to get the ball rolling again.

Below we have outlined the precautions we are planning to take for our 2020 PQSports Summer Championship:

Suwanee Sports Academ Venue Precautions:

  1. All staff will have their temperatures taken prior to entering the facility
  2. All bathrooms will be cleaned and sanitized several times a day
  3. Water Fountains will be turned off. We encourage each player to bring their own water bottle
  4. Clearly marked Entrances & Exits, one-way flow of foot traffic
    1. Use of Stanchions & Dividers to manage the correct flow of traffic
  5. Adjustment of player benches & spectator seating to encourage social distancing
  6. Multiple Sanitation Stations around the facility
  7. Sanitation team in charge of the cleaning of each court, bench and spectator seating in between games as well as other common areas

Event Precautions

  1. Limited Spectator/Coach Capacity per team
    1. Cashless Gate/Online Ticketing Encouraged
  2. Taking the temperature of coaches, players and staff
    1. Conducted each day upon entrance to the facility
    2. Use no-touch thermometer
    3. Any participant entering with temperature over 100.4 degrees will be asked to leave
  3. Face mask/covering required for all coaches/spectators/staff
  4. Game Precautions

    2. Game Schedule
      1. To minimize the number of people in the facility. Games will…
        1. Have staggered start times, if needed
        2. Be scheduled with longer breaks in between games
      2. Only teams who are playing will be allowed in the facility (Case by Case Scenario) 
      3. Teams will only play other teams within a pool to minimize interaction and help with contact tracing if necessary
    3. Sanitation of Game Ball throughout the game
    4. Elimination of Post Game Handshake Line

What's up Grassroots Basketball Family,

Coaches registration and players entrace will be at the rear side of Suwanee Sports Academy when you 1st pull into the parking lot.

**Coaches Passes - Strictly Enforced**

Only two (2) coaches passes will be handed out per team.  Additional coaches passes can be purchased via General Admission thru the General Admission door at Suwanee Sports Academy.

**Players Admission - Strictly Enforced**

All players mus have their uniforms on to be allowed into the gym for admission.

Coaches, we encourage you and your team to show up together.  We will allow you into the gym to go upstairs 30 minutes prior to your game.

Please inform your parents, fans, and players that the doors will open for admission and coaches check-in at 4:45pm today at Suwanee Sports Academy.

We will accept cash admission at the door and we have the option for purching tickets online as well.
