Hello Recruit Wisconsin Families!

All Schedules have been reviewed by all coaches and updated so we expect things to run smoothly. Please review your game times in the Blaze Events app to make sure that nothing has changed since the last time you looked.

We have another great slate of referees for your games, and look forward to providing you with a positive experience on the court.

RESPECT CLAUSE: Remember we have a zero tolerance policy and expect all participants (athletes, coaches, refs, spectators, and staff) to compete and interact with positivity, encouragement, and respect to continue to elevate the true spirit of our game.

CHECK-IN: Everyone should enter the main front entrance of the Champion Center. Club and College coaches will walk down the stairs to check-in at the RW Directors table. We only need one coach to check-in and you will receive your three bands (2 coaches and 1 scorekeeper). Reminder that athletes and club and college coaches and scorekeepers are the only personnel allowed down stairs on the court level. Athletes can travel up and down between levels to greet family members.

CONCESSIONS: There will be hot concessions available on the upstairs main level.

APPAREL: CFCC apparel company Decom will be providing gear for you all three days.

MARKETING: We will have our Big Bark Media marketing team in the house taking pictures and videos of all the teams successes. You can follow along on all FB, Twitter, and Instagram platforms. Please retweet, reshare, and use #RecruitWisconsin2021 to be a bigger part of getting Recruited right here is Wisconsin!

SCOREKEEPERS: Please! Make sure to hunt down each coach and gather the two all star nominations for each team, so we can make sure that every athlete who competes well has the opportunity for recognition. The form will be stapled to each scoresheet. Also, there will be an example of what a complete scoresheet should look like. Please follow carefully. It will be taped to the scorer's table. Scorekeepers will also need to enter in the BallerTV score throughout the game. It's easy (instructions will be on the table as well). We do ask that you make sure all player jersey numbers are entered into the BallerTV app as well.

LIVESTREAM: All games will be hosted on livestream through BallerTV

ATHLETIC TRAINER/DOC: There will be an Ascension athletic trainer on site and an OSMS doctor on call the entire tournament. The trainers office is located in the main Fieldhouse.

BANNER: Pictues can be taken in front of our big banner on the main level for teams.

If you have any concerns or questions, or if anything comes up during the tournament, please see the Director at the main table on the lower court level, or email team@blaze365.com. We will be checking this account throughout the tournament.

To all our Recruit Wisconsin Families, Teams, and Directors,

Thank you for participating in our second annual Recruit Wisconsin event!

It was a competitive three days of games and great for all teams involved.

We had a number of college coaches attend during the high school games. It was great to see the commitment by both Wisconsin and even Minnesota college coaches to come out and attend the games. If you didn't see them, we know they were also watching on BallerTV!

This ended up being a great time for youth teams to compete before vacation and the end of the season for some and High schoolers got one more slate of games before their live viewing periods start after the holidays. We will be having a meeting with all the Basketball Directors across the state as some of the teams we had in the event couldn't make it this year with school conflicts. We will collaborate even more and see what timeframe would work best for most clubs. If you have any suggestions or feedback, please feel free to respond to this email!

We've posted and reshared a number of pictures on Twitter, FB, and Instagram.

All-Star announcements and video highlights of the event will be posted as well by the end of next week. So keep an eye out for those and share all the greatness exemplified on the courts!

Hello Recruit Wisconsin Coaches and Families!

Thank you for participating in the 2021 RW event, hosted by 1on1 Milwaukee, Team Wisconsin, Wisconsin Blaze, and Wisconsin Legends. We are excited to host this top event for the state of Wisconsin!

Please review all details. We apologize for having to shift Monday time frames a couple hours earlier (14u competitive and younger divisions). We gained more teams than expected and only have 4 courts available to us the first four hours.

We tried our best to accommodate all requests within reason. There are a few longer times between games for some teams, and a couple back to back games due to purposeful schedule requests and restrictions.

If you have any major issues that arise, please make sure to reach out to team@blaze365.com.

Because of recent experiences this year during events, we have implemented a No Show Fee of $100 to any team who does not fulfill their commitment to the schedule. 99% of teams are great! But there's always that one who shockingly doesn't show up. Half of life is just about showing up :)

We want to make our events great for everyone and make sure all games are run, on time, and with great reffing. We believe you deserve the best experience ever! Therefore, this policy will be implemented this year.

To clarify:

The updated start time message for Monday games only pertains to those teams playing in the 1 day Divisions, which only play 3 games on Monday:

Boys 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U
Girls 11U, 12U, 13U, 14U Competitive


If you are signed up for the 2 day/4 game tournament, that remains Tuesday and Wednesday.

Boys 15U, 16U, 17U
Girls 14U Elite, 15U, 16U, 17U

The schedule will be posted on 6/22/21.

Due to the amount of games and accommodating schedule requests, games on Monday will start at 12:05 pm, with the last games starting at 7:35 pm.

The tournament schedule will be posted by Tuesday 6/21/21, or possibly earlier.

Hi Coaches!

Hope this email is finding you all well and that you are all having a fantastic summer basketball season so far!

We are about a week and a half away from our Recruit WI event and I wanted to send out an email regarding rosters and coach info.

I completed and entered a large amount of rosters today and have submitted them into the exposure system--thank you to those who sent me your rosters and head coach info for your teams! Please log into exposure and double check to make sure all necessary coaches and athletes are listed under your teams. If any necessary changes need to be made, you can respond to this email and I will get everything updated for you!

Any teams/coaches who have not sent me their rosters, please submit those by Monday, June 21. These rosters can be submitted in various ways:

Coaches/directors you can log into the exposure system and import your roster as a CSV doc and it will upload for you.

If you do not have access to exposure, or do not have experience importing rosters on the site, you can send your rosters to my email either as a CSV file, Excel file, or a typed out list of your roster and I will take care of formatting the file and importing your roster into exposure.

If there are any additional coaches or if I need to put a different head coach as the main contact in exposure, please let me know! All emails sent to coaches in exposure will be sent to the coaches' contacts listed under their team and we don't want anyone to miss any important emails that may come through between now and tournament time!

**IMPORTANT**

We want your athletes to have the best recruiting and college exposure experience possible while at this tournament--

For teams ages 13U and under: Your roster will simply need first name, last name, and jersey number. (If you would like to provide us with extra information such as position, height, grad year, school, etc...you are more than welcome to include that information!)

For teams 14U and up: We are asking for your rosters to include-- first name, last name, jersey number, position, height, school, athlete email, phone number, and graduation year. All of this athlete info will be safe in the exposure system and will only be given to college recruits if they ask for the athlete's information in order to contact them.
