Mamba Mentality Tournament - RULES
CHECK IN 3 COACHES BANDS WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE CHECK IN PROCESS. THESE BANDS MUST BE WORN THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT. IF BANDS ARE MISPLACED COACHES WILL HAVE TO PAY ENTRY FEE.
ALL teams must check in before their first game. Scoresheets will be provided
Each team will receive free entry for the 3 coaches and players listed on the roster only. Players must have on full uniform to receive free entry to tournament.
BENCH PERSONNEL/DRESS CODE
A team may have on its bench only the eligible persons listed on its official roster, including (e) non-players (coaches, scorekeepers, etc.)
In consideration of all teams, players, coaches, and staff It is imperative that all coaches, players, and parents make the proper arrangements to arrive on time for all games.
Team rosters must be provided prior to the tournament date. Rosters must be either pre-printed, texted or it can be emailed to email@example.com . All teams must bring eligibility documents for each player on the team. If you are challenged the eligibility of a player, you must produce a birth certificate and current report card. If you cannot provide these documents prior to the next game, all games played with the ineligible player will result in a forfeit.
Rules & Playing Time Division:
2 Halfs – clock stops at the 2 minute marker in each half and on free throw attempts.
16 Min Halves
Warmup – 5 minutes - 3 minutes halftime – overtime three minutes.
There is a 15 min grace period. Game time is game time. If you are not on the court at your designated start time, run the risk of a forfeit. There will be no exception to this rule.
Each team shall receive 4 timeouts per game (2 Per Half No Carry Over) Overtime allows 1 full time no carryovers.
Each player is given 5 personal fouls before fouling out.
Bonus Foul Shots 7-10 Double Bonus 10+
Any coach that receives a technical foul will have to remain seated for the remainder of the game Any coach or players that receives 2 technical fouls will be removed for the remainder of the game All technical fouls given to players will count against the personal foul count.
Teams winning by more than 20 points the clock will continue to run. Clock will only stop for timeouts. Clock will stop once the score is less than 20 points.
Referees control the game fully. All referee calls must be honored. There will be no meetings, discussion, etc. regarding referees. They have full control of the game.
$100.00 cash. If you win the protest, the cash will be returned. However, if you lose, your protest money is donated to the tournament host.

Player’s jersey must have numbers on both the front and back. Numbers can be 00-99 Home wears white/light colored jerseys and Visitors wear dark jerseys.
Any coach ejected for fighting will be removed for the remainder of the tournament Any player ejected for fighting will be prohibited from playing in the remainder of the tournament
It is the obligation of coaches, players, administrators, volunteers, and other representatives to practice the highest principles of sportsmanship and to observe the ethics of the competition. Good sportsmanship is defined as qualities of behavior, which are characterized by courtesy and genuine concern for others. The display of good sportsmanship is a statement of the individual’s understanding and commitment to fair play, ethical behavior and integrity. All coaches should observe the following ethical guidelines: The coach shall never place the value of winning above the value of instilling the highest desirable ideals of character. The coach must always consider the personal safety of the athlete. The coach shall be thoroughly acquainted with the rules and regulations of competition, and shall be responsible for their interpretation to team members. The coach shall not try to seek an advantage by circumventing the spirit or letter of the rules. Game officials shall have the respect and support of the coach. The coach shall not indulge in conduct that will incite the players or spectators against the officials. Public criticism of the officials or players is unethical. The coach should respect his opponents, display gracious behavior during the competition and require his players to conduct themselves in similar fashion. Before and after the contest, rival coaches should exchange friendly greetings to set the correct tone for the event. Coaches shall actively use their influence to enhance sportsmanship by spectators.
