Hey Parents!

I want to say thank you to everyone for being a part of this amazing season. It feels like yesterday the 2022-23 Be Someone Winter League was just getting started! I saw a tremendous amount of upcoming talent on the courts, but more importantly I saw smiles on your faces and your player’s faces. I believe the friendships made and the comradery formed are things that last forever.

We are so happy to have the opportunity to offer this league to our community. I really hope you all enjoyed it as much as we did. I want to give special thanks to all the coaches that volunteered and spent their time helping these players develop and learn the game. Also, congratulations to all the tournament champions!

For any player that would like to keep playing and continue to get better and develop into better basketball players we will be reopening our Basketball training in the next few weeks. We would love to have everyone a part of it. It would be amazing to have this group grow and develop with Be Someone Sports. Information for this training will be coming out in the next few days. We are working out the final details and planning for this training to really be great.

Also, our Be Someone Sports Summer Basketball League is now OPEN for registration.

Below are some important details to know.

- All practices and games will be scheduled Monday - Thursday between 6pm-9pm (except the playoff tournament)
- We will be playing and practicing at Living Stones Church Gyms and FISD Gyms.
- The cost is $230 per player (This covers the cost of uniforms, practices and games).
- Tryouts will be the week of May 15th.
- The season will begin on June 5th.
- Tournament will be August 12th-13th.
- Divisions for boys and girls K-8th.

Good morning parents! i want to start by saying thank you to all of you for being apart of this awesome league. i hope you all had a fun season and i truely hope to see you all in the upcoming summer basketball league.

Brackets are updated and on the app! to find them on the app click DIVISIONS, select your division, the select BRACKET. each team will recieve 1 practice this week to make any last minute adjustments. Bracket Games will begin Friday night!!! Cant wait to see who brings home the RINGS!!!!!!! All Championship games will be on SUNDAY!!!! Eveyone is welcome to come out and support would love to see the stands full!!

Good afternoon parents it has been brought to my attention by FISD that last night at Bales there was some damage caused to the gym. We have also received complaints from Living Stones Church and Upside Sportplex about unsupervised children running around and causing issues and concerns. Please Parents we need your help containing the kids and keeping order in the gyms. We understand large groups of children can be difficult to contain but with help from everyone this should be pretty easy.

If you have PICTURES at Bales tonight, please leave all basketballs at home. They will not be allowed in the gym. The Photographers will have basketballs that will be used. Parents, please help us with keeping the kids that are not on the basketball courts supervised to avoid future problems. Thank you all.

We have been monitoring the weather and gym availability for tonight and everything is still a go. Games, practices, and pictures will continue as scheduled. If for any reason we need to make adjustments we will notify you immediately.

Hello Parents. hope everyone is had an amazing week weekend. We have partnered up with The Friendswood HS basketball teams. Please see the attached flier and come out and support. These are always fun evenings for the families. We will be taking group photos of the kids and posting them on social media. We hope to see you all at the games.
