Spring Tip-Off Venues

Coaches and Directors,

We would just like to thank you for attending Top Tier Event's Spring Tip Off at Riverfront Sports in Scranton! We hope you all had a good experience and we hope to see you again soon!

We understand that the floors at Riverfront Sports Complex were a bit slippery and we are looking to remedy the situation immediately. With that said, we appreciate your patience in the matter.

We also wanted to remind you of our best tournament of the year, the KYDA Invitational, being held at Riverfront Sports April 15-16th, 2023. This is our 3rd Annual tournament with some of the top Nike, Under Armour and Adidas teams throughout the country with nationally ranked, top 25 players as voted by ESPN.

On Sunday, March 26th, Scranton will be hosting its annual “Scranton Half-Marathon”, which will begin at 8:00am. Part of the route for the race is held near the Riverfront Sports Complex, which is one of the sites for the Spring Tipoff. For teams that are participating in the 8:00am game slots Sunday morning at Riverfront, we highly recommend arriving before 7:30am to avoid any potential traffic issues. After 7:30am, some of the roads will be blocked off. To gain access to the facility if a road is blocked off, please just let one of the officers on the street know that you are headed to the basketball tournament at Riverfront and they will give you access to the road behind the Geisinger CareWorks building next door to the complex. The best way to reach Riverfront Sports is West Olive St. from downtown Scranton. West Olive St. will reopen at approximately 8:20am and should be used for the rest of the morning. Once the half-marathon is completed, all of the roads to the facility will be available

We are looking forward to hosting your program for Top Tier Events Spring Tip Off this weekend, March 25-26th! This is a FIRST DRAFT schedule, a finalized schedule will be going out tomorrow so be sure to check for any potential changes. If you have any issues with your schedule, please reach out VIA EMAIL ONLY as soon as possible. All changes will be made tomorrow (3/24), any additional requests are not guaranteed. A final schedule will be sent tomorrow morning/afternoon.

Admissions
All admissions will be sold at the door as cash only. As we transition to a new ticketing agency, this will be our last tournament with cash only option. We will not be accepting credit cards at the door, but we do have an ATM on site. Tickets will be $12 for the weekend and $7 for the day.
