March Mania Teams

Good afternoon everyone,


Please review your team's schedule and make sure you're aware of the game times and locations. We're asking all teams to arrive 30 minutes early to their scheduled game site. Doors will open at 8:30am, no earlier. We ask that no one arrive earlier than 8:30 as the facility's door are not set to open till 8:30 am on Saturday.

Also Coaches, we ask that the teams do NOT bring any outside basketballs into the facilities. NO EXCEPTIONS. We will provide basketballs for warm-ups and the game ball. This is to keep the off-court dribbling and horseplay to a minimum.

Good Morning Everyone,


We are excited to have you a part of this year’s March Mania Tournament Hosted by Syracuse Sports Center - Syracuse Select Basketball! This is the second tournament of our spring tournament series and we are looking forward to some great competition overall! With that being said below we have provided you with the information needed to relay to your players/parents. We have done our best to accommodate all schedule requests. Please note that we are using 2 different facilities for this event. Below are the addresses and locations. Feel free to reach out if you have any further questions.

Admission: There is an admission charge of $12 for a daily pass and $17 for a weekend pass for any spectators 12 & older.


Venues:

Morrisville State Rec Center: 22 Madison Rd, Morrisville, NY 13408

STUAC Morrisville College: 8 Chenango Rd, Morrisville, NY 13408


We have updated our admission bands policy to the following :

-Wristbands MUST be worn securely on wrist for entry into the tournament and cannot be slipped on and off.
-Wristbands must be visible on your wrist upon exit at the gate in order to re-enter that same day.
-Wristbands are NON-TRANSFERABLE and NON-EXCHANGEABLE.
-Do NOT remove, stretch or tamper with your wristband in any way or you will be charged a re-entry fee. No exceptions.

We anticipate having a fun,competitive and more importantly safe tournament. So with that being said we will NOT tolerate any unsportsmanlike conduct including but not limited to trash talking, vulgar language of any kind, racial slurs or taunting. This includes any coach, player, and spectator. Prior to each game, the head coach along with just one team captain from each team will be asked to meet at the scorestable to be informed on our sportsmanship code of conduct. Again we anticipate having a great competitive tournament and would not like to eject anyone nor issue any technical fouls, But a safe and competitive environment is the most important objective for this weekend.


Also we ask that there be NO BASKETBALLS brought into our facilities this weekend at all. We as the hosting organization will provide basketballs for warm-ups as well as the game ball. This will help keep horseplay and off-court dribbling to a minimum.



Lastly, DOWNLOAD OUR APP Syracuse Select – is a FREE iPhone and Android device app that will make the entire tournament process much easier. The APP includes addresses to all sites, pools/brackets for each division, standings within your pool, updated results for the entire tournament ,scores from each game, and much more. This APP should be your 1st choice for the most up-to-date schedule information.
