BASKETBALL SIZE: 5th grade will use a 28.5 ball. All other divisions will use a 29.5 ball. Please supply your own warm up basketballs and listed home team will supply game ball.

GAME DURATION: 5th and 6th grade will play 14 minute halves. 7th grade thru Varsity wil play 16 minute halves. Clock is a running clock except for the last 2 minutes of the 2nd half where all dead balls are stop clock. Obviously a referee stoppage or timeout is also stop clock.

FOULS: We use the 1 for rule. If a player is fouled in the act of shooting a 2 point shot, the player will shoot one free throw and it will count for 2 points. If a player is fouled on a 3 point shot attemp that misses, he will get one free throw worth 3 points. Technicals are shot all the way meaning a two shot technical will be two foul shots. 5 fouls per player, 1 and 1 bonus at the 7th foul of each half, double donus at 10 fouls per half. In addition, if a player is fouled after making a bucket, the "and 1" automatically counts with no free throws.

PLAYER ROSTERS: A player must be on your roster and in the book on Saturday to play Sunday. No add ons allowed. In addition, all teams must have NSID or a "book" if not on NSID. A book must have current school year report card, birth certificate, and a player picture on the student's school portal. If any player is challenged and does not have proof of correct grade, that team will immediately forfeit the questioned game and that player will not be allowed to play the rest of the tournament. Challenges must be made BEFORE a game, not after. Coaches, we expect you to be honorable. If you knowlngly cheat and have a player play down, your organization could face suspension and expulsion from all Panhandle events. Do the right thing and play the right ages!

TIMEOUTS: Each team gets 4 timeouts per game. In the event of overtime, no timeouts carry over and each team gets 1 timeout per 2:00 minute overtime. We will play all overtime games out. No sudden death if we get to a 2nd overtime.

BRACKETS: We will release these Friday night for Sunday play. We can not accept any requests for changes.

RUNNING CLOCK/PRESS RULES: If a team gets up 20 points in the second half there will be a running clock until the opposing team gets under 20 points. In addition, no press is allowed once a team is up 25 points. You can press again if the opposing team gets within 20 points.

SPORTSMANSHIP: We do not condone abusive language, fans on the court or on player side of court, fighting, vulgar language, or verbal abuse of referees. We will remove a fan, coach, player, or team who has bad sportsmanship or a bad attitude. Referees can tech up a team for any inappropriate behavior on the court or on the bench. Play the right way and have fun. No refunds will be issued for any player, coach, team, or fan removed from a tournament. This has not happened yet in 3 years of hosting and we expect that to continue :)

AWARDS: We will give out awards for all players on the bench and in the book and 1 coach per team. We do not give out rings or medals for players back home, assistant coaches, statisticians, etc. Roster and one coach only please.

BENCHES: No one is allowed behind the benches including teams who are next to play. Please use opposite corners of the gym on the opposite side of benches. We want our teams to be focused on the game at hand, not those behind you. No parents, team staff, etc. Just players, coaches, and if you have a videSographer they must be on opposite side. You are welcome to use your own stats person but they miss sit on the bench and will not be at the table. All scorer table decisions are final regardless of what your stat person may have in their book :)

UNIFORMS: We expect all teams to be in matching uniforms with numbers. If you can't meet this expectation please reach out to us before hand.

The schedule is finalized as of 2:45 PM CST Friday. Had a couple of small changes and was able to move a few games up on time. Please double check and make sure you are good on times. We run on time, please be at your scheduled games 15 minutes before to ensure we stay on time.

First games of Saturday the gyms open 20 minutes before 1st game. Please do not attempt to enter the gyms earlier so we can sweep the floor and get set up.

Our gate is $15.00 daily and $25.00 for the weekend. Kids 12 and under are free.
Limit two coaches armbands per team. When the first coach checks in he will get both armbands and has the responsibility of giving out the 2nd one to assistant.

Hi all I just had a team drop in 9th so need to do a slight tweak on schedule in the 2027 9tj grade division. We will send out a post when schedule is final. Please double check tomorrow on game times.

I have been trying to get back to all the calls and text messages. I will eventually get back to everyone. We have three events this weekend and 5 very large events upcoming. I was on the road for 13 hours yesterday and my son is in Fort Myers for the state championship. I appreciate your patience and understanding.

We did the best we could to accomodate organization and team requests. Please remember a request is just that, not a guarantee. Please do not ask to change the Sunday brackets when published. If you coach multiple teams, have a plan. We are sold out and tight on gym space. When programming we took all organizations needs into consideration and wrote Sunday brackets with that in mind.

Gate is 15.00 daily and 25.00 weekend pass.

Concessions will be available at BPA, Rutherford, and North Bay Haven.

Gyms will be locked until 20 minutes before 1st game. Please give us time to set up in the morning and do not bang on doors 😀

All teams must be registered on NSID or have a "book: if a team wants to challenge your roster. Must have pictures of players. Challenges are only allowed BEFORE a game is played and not after. If a team is caught knowingly playing ineligible players, they will forfeit all games with said players and potentially face suspension from any Panhandle tournament in the country. Play the right way and let us know if you have questions. This is a grade based tournament.

Players can only play for one team on their age group but can play up om a second tram, just no play downs.

Looking to have schedule out Wednesday night and then any revisions will be posted later Wednesday.

All divisions are good and on a waiting list. If you have not paid by Tuesday at 5:00 PM your team will be moved to the waiting list or removed. I would like to have the achedule out Wednesday for yall so please get in your payments or let us know if you can't make it.
