Please note an important update regarding your championship game. Your championship game will now take place at 5:00 PM in the Mallary Building on the grounds of Eastern States Exposition.

You will no longer be traveling to the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame for the championship.

Kindly notify your team of this change. We appreciate your flexibility and look forward to seeing you on the court!

Good Morning Hooplandia Participants,

It wouldn’t be a true New England weekend in 2025 without a little rain—but don’t worry, we’ve got you covered!

Due to this morning’s rain showers, our team has made the tough call to move all gameplay indoors for the remainder of the day to ensure everyone’s safety. All games will now take place inside either the Mallary Building or the Young Building.

Please note: Once we move indoors, we stay indoors all day.
Make sure to check the updated schedules in the app and locate your designated indoor court, which is clearly noted.

What a day! From buzzer beaters to epic comebacks, Day One of Hooplandia was packed with action across every court.

As we gear up for the final day of Hooplandia tomorrow, please keep the following important reminders in mind:

🗓 Sunday Game Schedules
Sunday schedules will be posted by 6PM tonight, once the final games wrap up. Please check the Hooplandia website or app for your updated bracket and game times.

✅ Sunday Check-In – Opens at 8:00 AM
All teams must check in before their first game. Only one player per team is required to check in at the Check-In Tent. If your team has already checked in, please notify your teammates to avoid unnecessary wait times.

If your team cannot make it tomorrow, please notify us by emailing info@hooplandia.com with your team name, division, and scheduled game time.

📅 Sunday Game Format – Single Elimination Begins at 9:00 AM
All Sunday games will follow a single elimination format starting promptly at 9:00 AM. If a team does not show up for its first scheduled game, it will count as their elimination game and they will forfeit the remainder of the tournament. No rescheduling will be permitted.

🎁 Swag Bag Pick-Up
All participants are entitled to a Hooplandia swag bag! If you haven’t picked yours up yet, please stop by Door 7 of the Better Living Center, near the outdoor food vendors.

🏆 Championship Games – Hall of Fame Update
Championship games for divisions 9U–17U and Pro-Am will be played at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame, tentatively beginning at 1:00 PM on Sunday. These finals will be held on the iconic Court of Dreams – a true highlight for our champions!

Thank you for your enthusiasm and interest in Hooplandia! We’re thrilled to have you join us for this exciting event. As we gear up for a fantastic tournament, we wanted to share some important information to ensure you have a smooth and fun-filled experience.

🅿️ Parking Information

Public Parking Entrance Gate 9: 875 Memorial Avenue, West Springfield, MA 01089
Price: $10 (Free for all attendees on Friday!)
Re-Entry: Keep your parking receipt on your dash if you plan to leave and return the same day to avoid paying again.

🚘 Rideshare Information (Uber & Lyft)

If you plan to use Uber, Lyft, or another rideshare service, please have your driver drop you off and pick you up inside Gate 9 at Gate 9A near the Team Check-in tent. There is a designated rideshare drop-off and pick-up area located here for your convenience.

📅 Team Check-In Information

You must check in for both Saturday and Sunday play.
• To avoid long lines on Saturday morning, you're encouraged to check in on Friday between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
• If you’re unable to check in Friday, you may do so on Saturday between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM.
• For Sunday play, check-in is available on Saturday before you leave (by 6:30 PM) or on Sunday starting at 8:00 AM.

Friday Night Hooptacular
Get ready for the electrifying kickoff of Hooplandia, the Northeast's Ultimate 3x3 Basketball Tourney + Festival, at our Friday Night Hooptacular!
Our festivities commence on Friday, June 20, with an evening filled with thrilling skills challenges, free for all participants. From 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm, the courts will be buzzing with excitement as players showcase their skills and compete in various challenges.

Saturday & Sunday Tournament Play

Start Time: Tournament play kicks off at 9am both Saturday and Sunday.
Game Guarantee: Teams are guaranteed three games.
Sunday Play: All teams will make it to Sunday. Single elimination play begins Sunday morning, with 11U-17U and Pro-Am division championship games held at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame

👥 Player Additions or Changes

Even though registration has closed, you can still make player changes. Submit your requests by completing the Player Add/Change Request Form and emailing it to info@hooplandia.com.

Please note:
Changes from Tuesday, June 17 through 8am on Saturday, June 21 will incur a $25 fee. No changes are allowed after 8am on Saturday, June 21. The Basketball Advisory Committee reserves the right to reject any player changes that do not align with the team's profile or bracket placement.

☁️ Rain or Shine — The Games Will Go On!

We plan to play outdoors unless weather conditions prevent us from doing so. Our facilities allow us to move courts indoors if needed. When brackets are released, each matchup will include both an outdoor court number and an indoor court assignment. This way, if we do need to shift play indoors due to weather, you’ll already know where your game will be held.

We will monitor the weather closely and notify all teams of any changes. A final decision regarding indoor or outdoor play will be made by the morning of Saturday, June 21 at the latest.

We strongly recommend packing and preparing for all weather conditions to ensure you're ready to play rain or shine!

🚫 Cooler & Outside Food/Beverage Policy

Please be advised that coolers and outside food or beverages are NOT permitted on the tournament grounds. This is for the safety, comfort, and enjoyment of all participants and spectators.

If you arrive with a cooler or outside food, security will ask you to return it to your vehicle before entering. Thank you in advance for your cooperation and understanding.

Plenty of food and beverage options will be available onsite throughout the event.

📅 Game Schedules

✅ Team Check-In
All teams are required to check in prior to their first game each day—Saturday and Sunday. Only one player or the coach needs to check in; the full team does not need to be present.

To help avoid long lines on Saturday morning, we encourage you to check in early:

Our team is planning for outdoor gameplay. However, in the event of inclement weather, we are fully prepared to move games indoors. Each team’s schedule lists both an outdoor court number and an indoor court number—please be familiar with both.

🏆 Championship Game Update
There has been an update to the divisions playing championship games at the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. These games are tentatively scheduled to begin at 1 PM on Sunday, and will include divisions 9U–17U and Pro-Am, playing on the legendary Court of Dreams.


Please note: All schedules are subject to change, so be sure to check them regularly for the latest updates.

There have been a few schedule changes. In order to see the changes, you have to get out of the app completely and go back in. Divisions affected are 11U and 13U at this time.
