2026 AAU Boys' World Championships registeration will be held in the same place and same time next year. Please visit our webiste in January to get registered.

Coaches and Directors,

All team media will be treated as a coach on your roster.
This person must purchase an AAU Non-Athlete Membership to recieve a coach’s credential to obtain floor access and cover your team. If there are no spots open on your roster this person must proceed as a spectator and purchase a ticket meaning they will not have floor access.

1. Schedule Updates
Please continuously review the schedule in the AAU Basketball app or AAU Basketball website online today. Do NOT go off of screen shots in team group chats or text messages. Bracket play and elimination games begin today. The schedule will be updated in live time.

2. NO FIGHTING
This event has a Zero Tolerance fighting policy. Punishments will be severe in nature for actions deemed as fighting. Punishments will be handled on a case by case basis by the tournament directors of this event.

3. Rosters
All are locked. No write-ins, No changes and No additions

4. Admission Tickets - PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR SCHEDULE
Purchase a ticket WHERE YOU PLAY only gets you in that facility. You cannot purchase a ticket to play at Disney’s ESPN Complex and use that ticket to enter the Game Point Event Center. And vice versa, It WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED.

All players must be from either the same state or adjoining state to participate on the same team.

We do not allow teams to recruit from all over the country/internationally to play on the same team.

This is to uphold the integrity of the tournament and have a true AAU World Champions

Here is a general layout of the schedule for the 2025 Boys' World Championship for 14u/8th - 19u/12th.

Please reference these dates and times to plan your travel accordingly. Best advice is to arrive July 2nd and depart late night July 6 or early July 7th.

EVERY TEAM PLAYS 1st GAME ON THE JULY 3RD.

4 Game Guarantee
- Wednesday (7/2) - 4pm - 8pm EST. - Early Registration (OPTIONAL) but suggested

- Thursday (7/3) - 6am EST. - Registration (MANDATORY) arrive two hours before your scheduled gametime
ALL COACHES REQUIRED TO COME.
PLAYERS NOT REQUIRED TO COME.

- Thursday (7/3) - 8am - 8:50pm EST. - ALL Game Play Starts Everyone plays first pool play game

- Friday (7/4) - 8am - 8:50pm EST - ALL Game Play - Pool

- Saturday (7/5) - 8am - 8:50pm EST. - ALL Game Play - Pool / Bracket Play

- Sunday (7/6) - 8am - 6:30pm EST. - ALL Game Play - Bracket Play / Awards Games

ALL games and awards should conclude by 7pm.

2025 AAU Boys' Basketball Eligibility Requirements

AAU Boys' World Championships uses age/grade-based competition rules.

Athlete must meet either the age portion or the grade portion of the rule.

​Ex.
17U/11TH GRADE

-Age Policy: An athlete can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2025.

-Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 11th Grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2025 is eligible to compete in the 17U/11th Grade division.

ATHLETE VERIFICATION:

1. Proof of Age & Photo ID
Acceptable Forms
- An unexpired Passport
- Valid Driver’s License
- Department of Motor Vehicles I.D. card issued within three (3) years
- Military Dependent I.D.
- The current year school ID (2024-25) w/picture and a copy of a birth certificate

2. Proof of Grade
Acceptable Forms
- Report card for the current school year which shows name, grade and school.
- Confirmation of grade level from a school administrator (guidance counselor, principal, dean, etc.) on school letterhead - National Sports ID with grade verification.

AAU Membership

This is an official AAU licensed event hosted by the AAU Headquarters

AAU Memberships are required to participate! We allow 15 players and 4 coaches per roster. Every person sitting on the bench during a game needs to have an AAU Membership.

- Non-Athlete (Coaches/Admin) - $55 or $57 - one year or $75 or $77 - two year

- Athlete (Players) - $20 or $22 - one year

(Pay extra $2 for “extended Membership” providing AAU insurance in any basketball events hosted by other companies)

Memberships are valid from Sept 1 – Aug 31st.

Retrieval Time

- Non-Athlete - Level 2 background check by NCSI. Please give yourself 3 days for processing. Complete email from NCSI after AAU application.

- Athletes – typically instantaneous but no longer than 24hours

All AAU Membership Cards will be received via email.
