PVBL - Winter Wonderland Tournament

Good Evening,

All of the scores have been entered in for all of today's games. Thus the Sunday schedule bracket has been updated accordingly.

Entrance without a Band will require payment be made for a band ($15. for the day)
Players must be dressed in their uniform!

All teams should be in the gym at least 10 minutes before your game time. The gym will be available at earliest to enter on Sunday at 9:45 a.m. (Damascus H.S.)

Make sure to review the schedule after each game or check with the Director before leaving! All scores tomorrow will be updated shortly after the game ends and that will automtically update the next game information.

After each game, please remove all of your belonging, drinks, trash etc and clear the bench for the next team.

After Championship game, please get your teams together and move to the area designated for trophy distribution and pictures. We really appreacieate your assistance.

Good Evening,

All teams have been sent a Roster Link. Please complete before 11:00 p.m. as I will be printing them out after 11:00 pm tonight. It is the Head Coaches responsibility to check their rosters and ensure they are complete before each game.

Spectator Fee is: $15./ day pass or $25./ Weekend Pass
Coaches Bands: Max. 2 Coaches per team are n/c which should be picked up at their first game.
Players must be dressed in their uniform!

Attached is a copy of the rules. All teams should be in the gym at least 10 minutes before your game time. For the first games of the day on any court, the coaches and team will be allowed in 10 minutes prior and spectators 5 minutes prior.

Make sure to review the schedule after each game to find out about the next game Schedule. For the majority of teams, Sunday's games depend on how they finish their Division (or Pool) on Sat. Please note that the place holders are there and we will be entering the scores during the day, but we will have it finalized and completed no later than 9:30 pm on Sat.

Due to scheduling conflicts and errors, a few changes had to be made to Sat. They are very minimal. An email notification was sent out earlier this morning when the changes were made in the system.

Sunday's schedule will be out on Friday Morning. Please note that some of the games on Sunday, will be pending the outcome on Saturday and although the place holders are there, they will be updated no later than Saturday at 9:30 pm.

Please note this is the first draft. We will do our best not to make too many changes. If you should find an error in your schedule, please email it immediately to info@pvbl.org.

The final schedule we hope will not have too many changes, but we will finalize it by 10:00 pm on Thursday December 12, 2024, barring no emergencies

Thank you for joining the Potomac Valley Basketball (PVBL) Winter Wonderland Tournament.

Attached are the rules for the tournament,

Each Coach must check-in at there first game to get their wristbands. Up to 2 Coaches per team will be allowed to get wristbands.

Spectator Fee is $15/ Day and $25 / Weekend

All Players should come in dressed in there uniform. No Loitering in the halls.

Coaches are responsible for their spectators, players, and guests. We want to keep this as much fun for the players as possible.

The 1st draft of Saturday Schedules will be out on Wed. December 11, 2024. Please note that scheduling requests that have been submitted with registration will be honored to the best of our ability. Depending on the division size, some games on Sunday will have been set and others would be set based upon how you complete Saturday. We do everything possible to update as soon as possible in order for you to plan accordingly for Sunday. Please note that all game scores will be updated no later than 9:30 pm on Saturday night which would update the schedule.

Before everygame, it is the head coaches responsibility to make sure that their roster is correct. After every game, it is the head coaches responisbility to double check that the score is recorded properly.

The games that will are videod will be placed in the Potomac Valley Basketball Facebook group as soon as oportunity allows.

There will be follow-up emails with additional information.
