Good afternoon,
After publishing the schedule Monday night, I made a few late night and early Tuesday morning adjsutments. So, if you have not checked your tournament schedule since mid-day Tuesday, please double check it for Day of Play, Times, and Location. Venue addresses are on the schedule website and the TXBA app.
Reminders:
1. An adult volunteer from each team must keep clock or scorebook. One of the reasons we can keep prices so much lower than anyone else due to these awesome volunteer.
2. Head coaches are responsible for the behavior of everyone affiliated with the team. Please encourage your players and parents to make safe choices so that the kids can play in a safe environment.
3. Gate is $15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students and can be paid in cash or via Venmo. No cards.
4. Sports Centers will not open before 7:30am, so there is no need to arrive earlier that 7:30am.
Thanks for your attention to these matter. We are looking forward to another great event!
If you are looking for a tournament next weekend, Sonny with Next Level is hosting at Southwestern University. Only 4 more days to egister here: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/240195/e/registration

Good evening,
Thanks for coming out to play the 24th Annual Magic Summer Showcase. If you haven't already downloaded the TXBA app, it is the most efficient way to get all schedule updates and event messages.
You can find the schedule on the TXBA app and here:

Take note of the sportsmanship rules and serious consequences for any type of violence. Physical and/or verbal violence will result in a full team disqualification from the event without any refunds for spectators or the team. Additionally, any form of violence, including threats, could result in the team being banned from future TXBA events. If a parent enters the courts without prior permission from the officials, the game will be suspended at the point of interrruption. No adult should make physical contact with someone else's child without permission. Help us keep this a safe event for everyone.
Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)
Please communicate with parents that gyms will not open earlier than 7:30am. All standings are decided by win/loss record, head to head, and point differential of opponents in a tie. Site Directors will hand out medals for 1st and 2nd after all games in the division are finished and the standings have updated online.
Please keep in mind players cannot play down in grade level. Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams in the event. Rules are posted under messages for the event. Please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the kids to enjoy the sport they love.
Thank you!
Tamie Felty
