We are excited to kick off the Spring season this weekend and are looking forward to a smooth and positive event for everyone. To that end, please double check your day of play, time/location (addresses under Venues), and the attached rules and info. Also keep in mind there is a music festival in Georgetown this weekend, so there will be increased traffic. Please calculate extra travel time.

The schedule can be found here and on the TXBA app:
https://basketball.exposureevents.com/239821/txba-eagle-invitational/schedule

Remember, if you play in the Auxillary court at Tippit MS, there is limited seating. Please remind your parents to bring chairs if they prefer to sit. Also remember the ASC double booked Sunday afternoon, so games were moved to Wagner MS and Tippit MS in Georgetown. The schedule online and on the app are up to date.

Thanks for coming to play and for keeping the environment positive and safe for all of the children.

Thanks for coming out to play the TXBA Eagle Invitational this weekend, April 5/6, at the Austin Sports Center in CP and Forbes MS in Georgetown. If you haven't already downloaded the TXBA app, it is the most efficient way to get all schedule updates and event messages.

You can find the schedule on the TXBA app and here:
https://basketball.exposureevents.com/239821/txba-eagle-invitational/schedule

Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)

Please communicate with parents that gyms will not open earlier than 7:30am. All standings are decided by win/loss record, head to head, and point differential of opponents in a tie. Site Directors will hand out medals for 1st and 2nd after all games in the division are finished and the standings have updated online.

Please keep in mind players cannot play down in grade level. Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams in the event. Also take note of the sportsmanship rules and serious consequences for any type of violence. Rules are posted under messages for the event.

The first tournament of the season can be a little tough for many teams who have had very few practices thus far, so please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the kids to enjoy the sport they love.

Thanks,
Tamie Felty
