Next Level Lace 'em Up Shootout Schedule

Dear Families,

We’re excited to welcome you to the 8th Annual Next Level Lace ‘Em Up Basketball Shootout tomorrow! Thank you for being a part of this awesome event, and we’re looking forward to a great day of competition, sportsmanship, and fun.

🔔 A quick reminder to bring lawn chairs or portable seating – some gyms have extremely limited seating, and we want to make sure all families are comfortable while cheering on their athletes!

🏀 Sportsmanship Matters
We take the safety and integrity of this event seriously. Please review and share the following rules with your families:

No physical or verbal violence – this will result in immediate team disqualification and no refunds for spectators or teams.
Any threats or inappropriate behavior may result in a ban from future TXBA events.
Parents are not permitted on the court without approval from officials. If this occurs, the game will be suspended at the point of interruption.
Do not make physical contact with any child who is not your own.
Let’s all work together to create a safe, respectful environment where kids can enjoy the game they love.

💵 Spectator Admission

Adults: $15/day
Students (K–12): $5/day
(Cash and Venmo accepted. No card payments.)
🚪 Facility Access
Gyms will not open before 7:30 AM. Please plan accordingly.

🏅 Medals & Standings
All standings are determined by win/loss record, head-to-head results, and point differential among tied teams. Site Directors will distribute medals for 1st and 2nd place once each division has completed play and standings are finalized.

👥 Roster Reminders

Players may not play down in grade level.
Players must be pre-approved to play on multiple teams.

Thanks for coming out to play the 8th Annual Next Level Lace em' Up Basketball event. If you haven't already downloaded the TXBA app, it is the most efficient way to get all schedule updates and event messages.

Take note of the sportsmanship rules and serious consequences for any type of violence. Physical and/or verbal violence will result in a full team disqualification from the event without any refunds for spectators or the team. Additionally, any form of violence, including threats, could result in the team being banned from future TXBA events. If a parent enters the courts without prior permission from the officials, the game will be suspended at the point of interruption. No adult should make physical contact with someone else's child without permission. Help us keep this a safe event for everyone.

Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)

Please communicate with parents that gyms will not open earlier than 7:30am. All standings are decided by win/loss record, head to head, and point differential of opponents in a tie. Site Directors will hand out medals for 1st and 2nd after all games in the division are finished and the standings have updated online.

Please keep in mind players cannot play down in grade level. Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams in the event. Rules are posted under messages for the event. Please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the kids to enjoy the sport they love.
