AAU Membership
This is an official AAU Licensed event hosted by AAU Headquarters. AAU Memberships are REQUIRED to participate. We will verify at registration before game play.
5 players and 2 Coaches per roster.

Types of Memberships
- Non-Athlete (Coaches/Admin) - $55 or $57- 1yr or $75 - 2yrs
- Athlete (Players) - $22 or $24 1yr
(Pay extra $2 for “extended Membership” providing AAU insurance in non-AAU licensed events as well)
!! IMPORTANT !!
- Non-Athlete Membership - After you apply on AAU webiste, Please complete secondary email from NCSI to process your background check. AAU membership will not go through without it.
Athletes – typically instantaneous less than 24 hrs.
AAU Membership Cards will be recieved via email.
Memberships are valid from Sept 1 – Aug 31st yearly.

Games will be located outside in the middle of Time Square.
All games tip-off at 10am est.
Check-in will begin at 9am est.
Please arrive at least 1 hour before your first game to check-in and recieve credentials. Street parking is very limited. Consider public transportation to get to designated area.
Look for BLUE AAU Feather Flag that says "Registration"

There will be a total of 8 half-courts. Please pay attention to the schedule to see where you play.
Court Location
Courts 1, 2 - Between blocks 45th & 46th on 7th Ave
Courts 3,4,5 - Between blocks 46th & 47th on 7th Ave
Courts 6,7,8 - Between blocks 47th & 48th on 7th Ave
There is NO Specator Admission! Only Players and Coaches will be allowed inside the fenced area where courts are. All games can be watched from outside the gated area.

Description
The 3rd annual AAU City Challenge: Times Square Takeover is back in 2025! Join us in the heart of New York City, in world famous TIMES SQUARE, for AAU's 3 on 3 City Challenge This event is open to any and all who would like to participate! Due to the popularity and high demand for this event, we will be adding additional courts this year. Courts will span from the following streets: Broadway, 45th - 48th Street Pedestrian Plaza.

General Information
AAU Membership is required for all athletes and coaches. You must register as a team. Teams will only will play one day, Saturday or Sunday, not both days. No free agent teams and no walk-up teams permitted. This event is a 2+ game guarantee. Teams will play 1 "play-in game." After this game, all teams, win or lose, advance to a single elimination bracket play game. We will do our best to offer each grade division a tournament both Saturday and Sunday but cannot guarantee this. Be prepared to play either day!
