The document below covers all the In-Game Rules and Regulations, Tie Breaker Determinations, Player Eligibility/Protests, and Game Forfeiture Policy. Please read all the rules thoroughly to make sure your team is in compliance. It is the responsibility of the coach to know and follow all the rules.

General $8, children 6 and under free

GAME RULES

10 & under shall use the 28.5” circumference basketball 11 & older shall use the 29.5” circumference basketball

AGE-BASED PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

7 & Under An athlete can be no older than 7 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2013)

8 & Under An athlete can be no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2012)

9 & Under An athlete can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2011)

10 & Under An athlete can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2010)

11 & Under An athlete can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2009)

12 & Under An athlete can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2008)

13 & Under An athlete can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2007)

14 & Under An athlete can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2021. (Born on or after September 1, 2006)

GRADE BASED PLAYER ELIGIBILITY

2nd Grade  An athlete must be in the 2nd grade or below as of October 1, 2020, and can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2021.

3rd Grade  An athlete must be in the 3rd grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2021.

4th Grade  An athlete must be in the 4th grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2021.

5th Grade  An athlete must be in the 5th grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2021.

6th Grade  An athlete must be in the 6th grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2021.

7th Grade  An athlete must be in the 7th grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2021.

8th Grade  An athlete must be in the 8th grade or below as of October 1, 2020 and can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2021.

HOW MANY TEAMS ADVANCE FOR PLAYOFFS?
The number of teams that will qualify for playoffs is based on how many teams are in the division.

1-5 teams in division – top 2 teams advance
6-8 teams in division – top 4 teams advance
9-12 teams in division – top 6 teams advance
13-16 teams in division – top 8 teams advance
17-20 teams in division – top 10 teams advance, if two pools, top 5 from each pool advance.
21 or more teams in division – top 12 teams advance, 6 from each pool.

PROTESTS:

All protests must be made BEFORE the start of the game. Any questions pertaining to the eligibility of a player or team shall be directed to the Gym Supervisor BEFORE the start of the game. All teams must show Birth Certificates and/or report cards for verification upon request.
