Make it Rain 7 Girls Basketball Showcase Tournament Venues

Parents, Players, Coaches and Fans: The schedule is posted! We are excited to host your girls for the 7th year of the Make it Rain Girls Basketball Exposure Tournament!! Our goal from the beginning is to GROW Girls Basketball in this area and this tournament will demonstrate how we are achieving that! Thank you for the loyalty of several teams that are not only coming this year, but have attended every single year!

SCHEDULE - Bottom team is home for pool play

The official apparel provider selling tshirts for Make it Rain is Fine Designs. They will have a table offering commemorative tshirts and apparel with the official Make it Rain logo. Their table will be just inside the HLS entrance upstairs.

Athletic Trainer:
We will have an athletic trainer on site during games. The Athletic trainer will be stationed inside the gym at court 1. Primary services provided will be taping, initial evaluation of injuries and icing.

GATE FEES ARE $40 for the Weekend Pass - $30 for Daily Pass - Age 12 and under are no charge.

Parking: When the upper lot is full, the best parking lot is below the building near the football practice field and is a short walk up to the HLS Entrance.

Food and Drink: Our volunteer parents host a hospitality room for coaches, officials and volunteer workers. Unfortunately, we are not able to allow players from other teams, parents or fans in the hospitality room. We provide this as a gesture of thanks for officials and coaches who rarely have time to leave the facility.

Restrooms and Locker Rooms: Please do not allow your children to 'hang out' in the bathrooms, this has historically resulted in mischief, so any unattended children will be escorted out of the bathrooms. If you see something that needs attention, please go to the gate and have them radio me.

Coolers are not allowed in the gym, however there are plenty of places outside the gym to hang out between games. There are several restaurants for a quick meal just off campus on University Blvd and 9 Mile Rd.

Finally, GOOD SPORTSMANSHIP is expected of every player, coach, official and fan. The Officials will follow the rules of the tournament and will call the games to the very best of their ability. There is an appropriate way to challenge a call by speaking with the officials respectfully. Any display of disrespect, profanity, or unsportsmanlike conduct will result in ejection from the tournament venue with no refund.

I will be onsite at all times during the tournament. If you need me, please check at the Gate and they will radio me.

Gate fees for Make it Rain will be $40 for a weekend pass and $30 for a daily pass -- we know this is very expensive but UWF has doubled our fees this year for gym use. Children 12 and under are no charge. We will accept cash, cash app, or Venmo payment.

April 20-21st at UWF in Pensacola will be the place to be for all Girls Travel Basketball Teams!!

Parents and Coaches: Please check the Exposure schedule for changes. Occasionally, I have missed some items, but I honored everything that was submitted in advance. We had some changes that were unavoidable.

Someone has to play at 8AM and someone has to play at 8:50PM. Some teams have a 4-5 game gap between games, it's just how the schedule fell in order to get teams rest between games.

As I'm sure you all know, I would prefer to have more courts, start later and end earlier...it's just not possible with the limited courts and the number of teams we have.

Please understand that the highest level of sportsmanship will be expected and enforced of every player, coach and fan. Any harsh language or unsportsmanlike conduct will cause the offending person or persons to be ejected.

All in all, we had a great day of competitive basketball! Let's finish tomorrow strong! Thank you all for Supporting Make it Rain for the 7th year!!

Remember, if you did not register using National Sports ID, all players must check in with their birth certificate and report cards from this eyar. Plan ahead and arrive early in order to prevent any delays!
