The venue will open at 5:30pm. Players should wear uniforms to gain free entry. Spectators can purchase their weekend wristbands for entry. Coach checkin will be available. We do have gifts for our head coaches and we have staff who can help show you to your courts for practice if needed. Please have players or coaches bring basketballs. Friday Night we have practices running on all courts except courts 1 & 2, where all players are welcome to participate in basketball training with Coach Drew Roberts, one of the top trainers in Connecticut. Drew trains top level college and professional basketball players and we are excited to have him with us tonight. In addition there will be VH16 All-Star games going on courts 7 & 8 througout the night so please feel free to watch some great basketball.

Please remember that point differential is used to break ties ( Head to Head if there is a tie between two teams) and for bracket placement for teams coming out of pool play. IMPORTANT NOTE : 20 points is the max point differential you will receive for any single win so please do not run up the score on teams in an attempt to win by larger amount.

For those of you playing in a division that has "Seeds" listed on the brackets please see below for an explanation on how the teams are placed.

EXAMPLE FOR SEEDED BRACKETS ONLY
REMEMBER max point differential is 20 so beating a team by more than that has no benefit.

Team 1, 2-0, +40 point differential
Team 2, 1-1, +4 point differential
Team 3, 0-2, -30 point differential

Team 4, +22 point differential
Team 5, +8 point differential
Team 6, -15 point differential

Hi Everyone,

Before we list some reminders for the weekend please assure your parents that the tournament will take place this weekend regardless of weather. Due to the timing of the potential storm we are confident that there will be minimal impact to travel on either day.

Here are a few reminders for the weekend. More information can be found by clicking the link below.

* EVERYONE WILL PLAY ON SUNDAY. If you see only two games currently on your schedule your third game will populate on the app once places are determined based on Saturday game results.
* Home team is on the bottom in the schedule and should wear white uniforms
* The Earth parking garage is the closest parking option to the tournament, but any parking are at Mohegan Sun will work fine.
* Friday night entry into the venue will require purchase of wristbands, which are good for the entire weekend.
* Doors will open for the 8am games at 7:20am

This message is being sent to everyone so please ignore if you have already made payment for the Winter Championships at Mohegan Sun. Most of our divisions are full and currently on waitlist status. We need all payments made in full to keep your spot for the event. Unpaid teams will be removed beginning Monday to clear room for teams on the waitlist. We are very excited to have over 200 teams currently registered for this year's event!
