WELCOME TO THE 1ST ANNUAL TIP-OFF JR!
We are looking forward to a great event this weekend. In order to have this event be as successful as we all would like, it is important you read this email in its entirety, forward to your teams/parents so they can be prepared as well. We truly appreciate it!
Please be mindful that there will be traffic on Friday to get to your facilities so allow plenty of time for travel when planning your trips. Thanks!
SCHEDULE IS FINAL!
Please check the app or the website for the schedule, and please be sure you check the location you are playing and go to the correct location.
Rosters:
Rosters are due by NOON Friday, JUNE 28th
Coaches please check your email for the roster link. The roster will be used for media, awards, etc. Players must be listed on the team's roster to participate in this event.
Team Check-In:
COACHES MUST CHECK IN AT DOBBS CREEK REC CENTER BEFORE HIS/HER FIRST GAME. Your wristbands will be at that location. Please make plans to check in there. Doors will open at 6:30pm Friday and 8:30am Saturday/Sunday.
Coaches MUST wear wristbands to be in the gym at any time. No exceptions. The wristband is good for the whole weekend, so do not take it off, as we will not replace them. You will have to purchase another wristband if you lose it, or take it off.
Tickets:
This is a CASHLESS event. Tickets are available from the link below, and we strongly suggest purchasing your tickets before arriving in order to save yourself time at the gate.
Ticket prices are:
$25 Friday
$30 Saturday
$25 Sunday
Age 7 and under are FREE.
Weekend Pass available on Friday Only for $70.
This will get you in all weekend, at all locations. Wristband MUST be on your wrist all weekend for you to get in. There is a no refund policy, even if your team doesn't make it to play on Sunday. Buy at your own discretion.
Wristband must be worn on your wrist at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS.
Your daily pass will get you access to all gyms for that day.

GAME/GYM RULES
PLEASE PASS THIS MESSAGE ON TO YOUR PLAYERS:
Any player entering the gym, at any time, through the weekend MUST have their jersey on. If they don't, they will have to pay. There are no exceptions to this. Players must wear their jerseys to get in the gym.

GENERAL TOURNAMENT INFORMATION
TOURNAMENT SCHEDULE
*COACHES MUST CHECK-IN AT DOBBS BEFORE THE START OF THE FIRST GAMES.
*FRIDAY DOORS WILL OPEN AT 6:30PM
*SATURDAY/SUNDAY DOORS WILL OPEN AT 8:30AM
Tournament schedule will post by 10pm Wednesday. Please recheck the tournament schedule for updates.
The home team is responsible for the game ball.
ScoreSheets: Sheetsheets will be provided
Home Team -TOP TEAM OR FIRST TEAM LISTED is the home team. The home team MUST wear light colored uniforms
Coaches Check-In Team's head and assistant coach must check in before his/her first scheduled game at the location of his/her first scheduled game.
Two coaches per team will be provided free entry coaches band. Coaches band must be worn throughout the tournament. If bands are misplaced or not worn on the coach's wrist the coach will have to pay entry fee.
Coach Attire: All coaches must wear a polo styled, collared, or team related shirt. (Shirts that state team fan, team mom/dad, etc. are NOT considered a coaches shirt) Coaches must have on coaches band to sit on team bench during game.
Players Uniform: Players must have on team uniform and be on team roster to enter the gym for free and play in the games.
Basketball Balls: Coaches are only allowed to bring up to two balls into the facility. Players/Siblings/Spectators are not allowed to bring a basketball into the facility or dribble the basketball inside the facility
Team Books-Please have team books at check-in and available at all times throughout the tournament. Books should have proof of age ei, include birth certificate or state ID, and report card.
Game Time-Due to the number of teams, and in consideration of all teams, players, coaches, and staff It is imperative that all coaches, players, and parents make the proper arrangements to arrive on time for all games.
