ATHLETE VERIFICATION:

Proof of photo identification for eligibility must be available for review, by an AAU designee at all AAU licensed competitions. If the documents are not available the team is subject to removal from the competition. Acceptable documents include any of the following:

1. An unexpired Passport
2. Valid Driver’s License
3. Department of Motor Vehicles I.D. card issued within three (3) years
4. Military Dependent I.D.
5. The current year school ID (2023-24) w/picture and a copy of a birth certificate
6. Electronic Age Verification through SportsAge ID (A one-time registration fee of only $15.00 covers 100% of all updating and processing fees for as long as an athlete participates in the AAU Boys Basketball Program) or National Sports ID (A yearly fee of $10.00 validates your eligibility for licensed AAU events).

IN ADDITION to one of the proofs of age eligibility items listed above in “1” through “5”,

Proof of Grade must be available for review by an AAU designee at all AAU licensed competitions in the Grade Based division. If the documents are not available, the team is subject to removal from the competition. Acceptable Proof of Grade documents include any of the following:

a. A photocopy of that portion of the athletes’ report card for the current school year which shows name, grade and school.

b. Confirmation of grade level from a school administrator (guidance counselor, principal, dean, etc.) on school letterhead. 3. National Sports ID with grade verification.

All bench personnel must be present and show government issued photo ID in order to receive credentials.

Tuesday: pool play concludes. After all pool play games are done, please report to CLASSROOM 3 in the STATE FARM FIELDHOUSE to pick up your team's t-shirts and drawstring bags for the athletes.

Wednesday: bracket play begins for all teams. Please follow the brackets closely as there are multiple brackets in each division.

Thursday: CHAMPIONSHIP DAY!

In compliance with the National Federation High School Rules (NFHS), artificial noise makers will not be permitted before, during or after games.

This includes portable speakers, shakers, whistles, etc...

Noise could be deemed as a distraction or offensive to opposing teams or general audience.

!! ZERO TOLERANCE FOR FIGHTING !!

Any act of aggression will be met with serve consequences for individuals, teams and clubs. Team may face suspension from competition at AAU's discretion. Also, please understand that formal criminal charges may be pursed if deemed necessary.

In the event of a fight, AAU Gym Supervisors, Security or Referees reserve the right to remove any personnel from gym and no refunds will be given.

Spectators are prohibited from using offensive or hostile language towards the Coaches, Athletes, Referees or other Spectators before, during or after the games. Disorderly behavior will not be tolerated.

We allow a max of 15 Players and 4 Coaches per roster.

Next, please include the JERSEY NUMBERS FOR ALL PLAYERS. This is imperative, as we will be pre-printing score sheets before every game. Rosters will lock after your first game. If jersey numbers are incorrect to start the game, one technically foul shot will be accessed for every incorrect number.

This is a requirement by the Wide World of Sports Complex in order to participate in any events held specifically on Disney property. It's imperative that you print and sign waivers prior to the tournament start date. A wavier must be signed for every active person on the roster. That includes first and last name for each COACH and every ATHELETE!

All waivers will be physically collected at registration. EACH COACH MUST TURN IN THEIR OWN WAVIER. YOU CANNOT TURN SUBMIT WAVIERS FOR OTHER COACHES.
