We are exctied about the event this weekend! Please pass a few important pieces of information on to your parents so everyone comes prepared and there is no confusion.
*There is limited seating at Southwestern, but families are welcomed to bring their own chairs in case the seating options are full. Chairs are allowed in both gyms, but must be at a safe distance from baselines.Nobody is allowed upstairs.
*Southwestern and the Round Rock Sports Center both have some parking limitations.
-Southwestern has a baseball event, so the parking on the street leading to the gym is reserved for baseball. Please park in the lot in front of the gym and the lot in front of the 3 freshmen dorms.
-The Round Rock Sports Center's back parking lot is restricted due to the expansion construction. Please park in the front lot.
*Doors will open no earlier that 7:30am at each location. Please wait for staff to set up and open the gate before entering.
Rules are attached again. Please take note of the free throw and sportsmanship rules. We strive to make this a positive environment for all the kids!
Thanks,

Good evening,
Thanks for coming out to play the 23rd Annual Magic 5 Star Showcase on June 22/23! We are very excited to be hosting 160 teams this year. Keep in mind, teams play on Saturday OR Sunday, not both days.
You can find the schedule on the TXBA app and here: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/216804/23rd-magic-5-star-summer-showcase/schedule
Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)
I did my absolute best to accomodate schedule requests entered when registering. I will not be able to change the schedule to accommodate late requests. Thanks for your understanding as we try to make this a great weekend of basketball for all the kids!
Please communicate with parents that gyms will not open earlier than 7:30am. There are no brackets; all standings are decided by win/loss record, head to head, and point differential of opponents in a tie. Site Directors will hand out medals for 1st and 2nd after all games in the division are finished and the standings have updated online.
Rules are attached, and please keep in mind players cannot play down in grade level. Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams for the same organization in the event. Also take note of the sportsmanship rules and serious consequences for any type of violence. Please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the kids to enjoy the sport they love.
Thanks,
Tamie Felty
