NSU Summer Heat Schedule

Dear Esteemed Coaches and Team Managers,

We eagerly anticipate your arrival at this weekend's North Stars United Summer Heat tournament, set to unfold on Saturday and Sunday at the Six Park East Durham multi-court complex. Your participation brings together 30 teams from various parts of Ontario and Canada, each adding a unique flavour to this vibrant sporting event.

Teams from northern Ontario, Guelph, Montreal, Winnipeg, and Vancouver will converge, bringing unique styles, strategies, and spirit. This diverse gathering underscores the beauty of our sport, which challenges athletes and unites different cultures and communities in friendship and mutual respect. It’s a perfect opportunity to foster connections beyond the court, encouraging a sense of belonging and collective enthusiasm among players, coaches, and fans.

Tournament Schedule and Player Rosters
To keep informed with the latest schedules and exhibition games, please download the North Stars United app, available at no cost on both Apple and Android platforms. For the online schedule, visit https://basketball.exposureevents.com/220234/nsu-summer-heat. If still needs to be done, team rosters must be submitted as soon as possible, ensuring all participants are correctly listed for the tournament's smooth operation.

Uniform Guidelines
To ensure visual clarity during games, the home team (listed first on the schedule) should wear light-coloured uniforms, and the away team should wear dark uniforms. If your team does not have both uniform colours, please contact us immediately to make the necessary arrangements.

Enhanced Experience with BallerTV
We are delighted to partner with BallerTV to stream all games live. This service allows those who cannot attend to watch the games live and provides coaches with valuable footage for post-game analysis, enhancing team strategies and individual performance. To access a game's live stream, simply log into our app, select the desired game, and click the "watch" button.

Tournament Fee Prompt Payment Request
Please pay your tournament fees promptly to confirm your team’s participation. You can send your payments directly to NSUCoaches@gmail.com without a password.

Game Day Logistics
Teams are reminded to bring their game balls and first aid kits. We also request your cooperation in maintaining cleanliness by managing your bench area after each game.

Game Play and Tournament Rules
The tournament rules are attached to this letter and will be available at the score tables and the gym's entrance. Please review these to ensure all games proceed smoothly.

Admission Fees and Venue Navigation
A daily spectator fee of $15 or a weekend pass for $20 will be charged, with children under ten admitted free of charge. Players, coaches, and managers are exempt from these fees. For detailed directions to game locations, refer to the "Directions" tab in our app to ensure timely arrival for your matches.

Hi everyone,

Thank you again for your patience today, especially for teams playing on Courts 3 and 4. A special shout out to Coach Smith and his boom box for providing me with some welcomed entertainment while I was huddled over the computer making adjustments.

The Super Sunday schedule is now live. I ask all coaches and managers to review their games, as some adjustments have been made for this Sunday.
