Spectator Waiver Agreement

Spectator Waiver – Hoop Connect Events By attending a Hoop Connect event as a spectator, you acknowledge and agree to the following terms and conditions: 1. Assumption of Risk As a spectator, you understand that attending a basketball event involves certain risks, including but not limited to personal injury, illness, or property damage. By attending the event, you voluntarily assume all risks associated with attending, whether known or unknown, including those arising from the actions of players, coaches, officials, other spectators, or event staff. 2. Waiver and Release of Liability By attending this event, you hereby release, waive, and hold harmless Vision Elite Athletics, dba Hoop Connect, including its directors, officers, employees, volunteers, sponsors, and event staff, from any and all liability, claims, demands, or actions arising out of or related to any loss, damage, injury, or illness (including COVID-19) that may occur while attending the event. This waiver includes claims arising from the negligence of Hoop Connect or its staff. 3. Medical Emergencies In the event of a medical emergency, you consent to emergency medical treatment if required and understand that you are responsible for any costs associated with such treatment. 4. Code of Conduct Spectators are expected to behave respectfully at all times. Disruptive, abusive, or unsportsmanlike behavior will not be tolerated. Hoop Connect reserves the right to remove any spectator for inappropriate behavior without refund or recourse. 5. COVID-19 or Health-Related Guidelines Spectators must comply with all local, state, and federal health guidelines in place at the time of the event, including those related to COVID-19. Failure to comply with health protocols may result in removal from the event venue without refund. 6. Photography/Media Release By attending the event, you grant Hoop Connect and its partners the right to capture and use photographs, video, or other recordings of you for promotional purposes without compensation. 7. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Vision Elite Athletics, dba Hoop Connect, from any and all claims, actions, or liabilities (including legal fees and costs) arising from your actions or behavior while attending the event. By entering the event venue, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to the terms of this waiver and release. However, we may share information with: Event partners and sponsors (to provide services or promotional material) Payment processors to handle financial transactions Scouting services affiliated with Hoop Connect for talent evaluation and exposure purposes Legal authorities if required to comply with legal obligations 4. While we strive to protect your data, no method of transmission over the internet is entirely secure. 5. Media and Photography By participating in a Hoop Connect event, you consent to the collection and use of photographs, video recordings, and other media for promotional and marketing purposes. These may appear on our website, social media platforms, or in promotional materials. 6. Third-Party Links Our events may involve partners or sponsors whose privacy policies differ from ours. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these third parties, and we encourage you to review their policies if you engage with their services. 7. Refund Policy

Refund Policy - Hoop Connect At Hoop Connect, we strive to provide a smooth and enjoyable event experience for all participants. However, please note the following refund policy for all Hoop Connect events: No Refunds: All event fees, including registration, participation, and other associated costs, are non-refundable. This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, withdrawal, or non-attendance. Event Cancellations by Participant: If a participant or team decides to cancel their registration or withdraw from the event for any reason, no refund will be issued. Event Modifications or Rescheduling: In the event that an event must be modified, postponed, or rescheduled due to circumstances beyond our control (such as weather, venue changes, or unforeseen disruptions), no refunds will be provided. However, we will make every effort to accommodate participants in a rescheduled event. Event Cancellations by Hoop Connect: In the unlikely event that Hoop Connect cancels an event, participants will be offered the option to transfer their registration to a future event of equal value or receive a partial refund at the discretion of Hoop Connect. Force Majeure: Hoop Connect is not responsible for refunds or compensation due to cancellations or changes resulting from force majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, pandemics, or other situations outside our control. Payment Disputes: In the case of a payment dispute or chargeback, participants will be responsible for any fees associated with the dispute process and may be prohibited from future events.
