The district has made recent policy changes that no longer allow outside food, or drinks on to the gym floors at our locations this weekend.
Please make sure that all players pick after themselves after each game clearing water bottles from the bench area.
ALLOWED:
Items purchased at the concessions are allowed.
Water bottles and drinks with a sealed lid.
NOT ALLOWED:
Open containers drinks
Meals (pizza, fast food, Starbucks etc.)
SPECTATORS
There is a zero tolerance for disrespecting tournament staff any incidents during the event will involve an immediate removal from the gym.
Spectators caught sneaking into the gym, or those involved in opening doors to allow them to sneak in without paying for entry will be removed from the gym.
TOURNAMENT RULES 5V5
For any clarification of the rules please request to see site monitor.
1. Players may only play for one team at the same grade level and gender for the duration of the
tournament. (Girls can play on boys teams, boys cannot play on girls)
2. The HOME team will be the first or top team listed AND WEAR LIGHT UNIFORMS.
3. 20 Minute “Running Time” Halves. Final 2 Minutes of the 2ND HALF: Clock runs with an 11-point
or more margin, clock stops with a 10-point or less margin. Clarification - Clock remains stopped after a
timeout is called.
4. Each team will have three 30 second timeouts to use during regulation.
5. If overtime is required it will be sudden death from a tipped ball THERE ARE NO TIMEOUTS DURING
OVERTIME.
6. In the event the score differential becomes greater than 20 points, backcourt pressure will not be
permitted. Backcourt pressure begins after full possession is made and the team has secured the
basketball. Failure to follow this rule will result in a violating team technical foul.

7. Each player is permitted five fouls.
8. Coaches must remain in the coaches box at all times. If a coach comes onto the court it is a
TECHNICAL Foul. Only the head coach can stand and speak to the refs.
9. TECHNICAL FOULS – A technical foul will be assessed to a coach or player for acts or conduct such
as, disrespectfully addressing or contacting an official or gesturing in such a manner as to indicate
resentment or using profane or inappropriate language or obscene gestures.
Coaches – Upon receipt of first technical foul the coach will be restricted to the bench for the remainder of
that game. Upon receipt of second technical foul the coach will be ejected from the game. Ejections may
be appealed to the tournament director no earlier than 15 minutes after ejection (cool down time).
Players – Upon receipt of a second technical foul the player will be ejected from the game and the
tournament for the remainder of that day. Player ejections may not be appealed.
ALL TECHNICAL FOULS ARE 2 POINTS AWARDED TO OTHER TEAM AND THE BALL.
10. NFHS High School Rules will be in effect otherwise.
11. Ball Size will be: 28.5 girls all grades, boys 3rd-5th, 29.5 6th-HS.
12. We will maintain the old style for free throws. 1 and 1 after 7 team fouls, double after 10 fouls.

General Information
If you have been removed from other tournaments and or programs, please do not register as we are working to create a positive basketball experience for all.
Daily Spectator entry:
$12.00 Adults
$8.00 Kids 6 TO 18 years old
$8.00 Senior Citizens/EMS/Military
HEAD COACH WILL RECEIVE 3 WRISTBANDS. EACH TEAM MUST PROVIDE A SCOREKEEPER.
3 Game Guarantee minimum if signed up for both days. Can be up to 5 depending on size of brackets.
$20 PER TIME REQUEST
All requests must be done online by 11 pm Monday Night. E-mailed/TEXT requests or requests written on registration forms will be ignored.
One day events are 2 games only. If you want more games you can sign up twice.
Gyms will primarily be in SWWA and or Portland Metro.
Schedules will be out by the Thursday before the event.
We reserve the right to combine age groups and will do our best to adjust Sundays match ups to make for the best environment for all.
Concessions will be sold as well.
Candy, Pop Corn, Drinks, Pretzels, Chips and More.
No refunds, future credits only. If an event cancels, we will reschedule.
Jr. NBA Member 
The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-14 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
