Description
Join OK Fadeaway Hoops for a 2-day Division II basketball tournament! • Teams: Boys and Girls, 1st Grade through High School • Games Guaranteed: 3 games minimum • Format: 2 pool play games on Saturday, single elimination on Sunday • Eligibility: Grade-based divisions for the 2024-2025 school year • Game Duration: 12 to 16-minute halves with a stopped clock • Awards: 1st & 2nd place teams in each division • Certified Officials • Flexible Scheduling

General Information
Tournament Details:
• Games Guaranteed: 3 games minimum
• Format: 2 pool play games on Saturday, single elimination on Sunday
• Eligibility: Grade-based divisions for the 2024-2025 school year
Ability-Based Information:
• Division I (DI): For elite teams seeking the highest level of competition. In DII tournaments, DI teams must play up at least one grade level.
• Division II (DII): For developing teams looking for a competitive, yet balanced, environment. DI Teams are welcomed but must play up at least one grade level.
Game Information: (Stop Clock)
• 1st-5th Grade: Two 12-minute halves
• 6th-8th Grade: Two 14-minute halves
• 9th-12th Grade: Two 16-minute halves
• Timeouts: 1 x 30 sec & 1 x 60 sec per half (no carry-over), 1 x 30 sec in OT (no carry-over)
• Fouls: 6 per player; 10 team fouls for 1 & 1; 13 team fouls for double bonus (two shots)
• Overtime: 1st OT: 2 minutes, 2nd OT: sudden death (first team to score at least two points wins)
• Pressing: Specific rules based on grade level
Awards:
• Awards for 1st and 2nd place teams in each division
Coaches:
• Each team is allowed two coaches
• Coaches must wear designated event wristbands to enter and sit on the bench
• Replacement fee for coach’s credential: $20
• Non-compliant coaches will be removed by game officials
• Coaches must be at least 21 years old
Player Verification:
• All players must be National Sports ID (NSID) verified. Verification Link
• Verification is valid from Sept 1st, 2024, to Aug 31st, 2025
• Players only need to be verified once to participate in all events during these dates
• Send the verification link to parents/guardians
Official Protest System:
• If players are protested and not verified through NSID, they will not be eligible to play until verified.
Team Responsibilities:
• Teams must have home and away matching uniforms
• Each team must bring its own warm-up balls; officials will choose the game ball from these
• Home team sits on the left bench next to the scores table and wears a light-colored uniform; visitor team sits on the right and wears a dark uniform
