Boys Under 14 New York State Fair Basketball Tournament Albany

Good Afternoon Coaches,


Just as a reminder ALL players involved in the New York State Fair 14u Tournamnet will need to provide proof of age through their birth certificate in order to be eligblie to play. If documentation is not provided or the athlete is found not to be 14 or younger as of August 29th, 2024 THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO PLAY . NO EXCEPTIONS.

We are excited to have you a part of this year’s New York State Fair Tournament Hosted by Syracuse Select Basketball! This is the fourth year we have had the privilege to host this event at the fair and the second year we're hosting the 14u age group! We are looking forward to some great competition overall! With that being said below we have provided you with the information needed to relay to your players/parents. Schedule will only be changed if we made a procedural error. COACHES READ THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT:


All teams participating in New York State Fair event are required to provide proof of age for all players (active and reserves). A copy of This information is will need to be submitted via email to syracuseselectstaff@icloud.com no later than Noon on Tuesday August 27th, 2024. Players must be 14 years old (or younger) as of August 29, 2024. A copy of their Birth certificate and school report card must be checked at the start of the tournament by the tournament director. Anyone found cheating Will be eliminated from the tournament immediately no questions asked. It is your responsibility to be sure that your players are legal. We will check!

Lastly, DOWNLOAD OUR APP Syracuse Select – is a FREE iPhone and Android device app that will make the entire tournament process much easier. The APP includes addresses to all sites, pools/brackets for each division, standings within your pool, updated results for the entire tournament ,scores from each game, and much more. This APP should be your 1st choice for the most up-to-date schedule information.
