2025 National Basketball Championship - July 9-13, 2025 Compete in the premier basketball event of the year! Open to boys and girls teams from 1st to 11th/12th grade, this championship features ability-based divisions (DI & DII) for a fair and competitive experience. All players must be National Sports ID verified to ensure eligibility and fair play. Register by May 29th to secure early bird pricing, and take advantage of our multi-team discounts. General Information

Tournament Details:

- Games Guaranteed: 4 games minimum
- Format: 2-3 pool play games, seeding into bracket play.
- Eligibility: Grade-based divisions for the 2024-2025 school year

Ability-Based Divisions:

- Division I (DI): For elite teams seeking the highest level of competition.
- Division II (DII): For developing teams looking for a competitive, yet balanced, environment.

Game Information: (Stop Clock)

- 1st-5th Grade: Two 12-minute halves
- 6th-8th Grade: Two 14-minute halves
- 9th-12th Grade: Two 16-minute halves
- Timeouts: 1 x 30 sec & 1 x 60 sec per half (no carry-over), 1 x 30 sec in OT (no carry-over)
- Fouls: 6 per player; 10 team fouls for 1 & 1; 13 team fouls for double bonus (two shots)
- Overtime: 1st OT: 2 minutes, 2nd OT: sudden death (first team to score at least two points wins)
- Pressing: Specific rules based on grade level

Awards:

- Awards for 1st and 4th place teams in each division

Coaches:

- Each team is allowed two coaches.
- Coaches must wear designated event wristbands to enter, sit on the bench, and ensure team management.
- Replacement fee for lost credentials: $20
- Non-compliant coaches will be removed by game officials.
- Coaches must be at least 21 years old.

Player Verification:

- ALL COACHES and ALL PLAYERS on your roster must have a National Sports ID.
- We allow up to 15 players and 2 coaches per roster.
- The Deadline to complete the National Sports ID team roster is Sunday, June 27th, at 11:59 pm CT.

Official Protest System:

- If players are protested and not verified through NSID, they will not be eligible to play until verified.

Team Responsibilities:

- Teams must bring both home and away matching uniforms.
- The home team wears light colors and sits on the left bench next to the scores table; the visiting team wears dark colors and sits on the right bench.
- Teams are responsible for providing their own warm-up balls; officials will select the game ball from these.
