3rd Annual St. Patrick's Day Showdown SOLD OUT

Hi all,

We are going to change the bracket in 8th. One team forfeited (YBI Nola) so we will go to a 5 team gold bracket for 8th. Give us a quick second and will update and post.

We will post a message here once that bracket has been updated. Should not be more than a few minutes.

Very minimal changes in schedule and only affects 7th grade. If your in 7th please check your game times at Jinks Middle school. First game is now at 10;00 AM there. Thanks all!

Please check your schedules around 10:00 P CST. We had a team drop in 7th. Will update in just a sec and wont affect much but letting everyone know.

Please read over the rules and send to your parents so they understand the clock and free throw rules. Thanks coaches, any questions just holler.


· (2) 16-minute halves grades 6th-10th . Varsity girls & Boys are 16- minute halves. 5th & under is 14 -minute halves. Running clock until last 2 minutes of the game. Clock stops on timeouts. and under 2 minutes on each whistle in the 2nd half.

· 4 timeouts per game. 45 seconds in length

· 1 &1 free throws on the 7th foul during a half. Make 1 to get 2 points. 10 team fouls in a half is 1 for 2 points. Made baskets with a foul will automatically get 3 points. Under 2 minutes in the 2nd half is standard free throw shooting. Any technical, intentional, or 3 point shot fouls will be, make 1 to get 2 or 3 points depending on the foul position. Clock stops when the shooter receives the ball on a free throw

· Overtime is 2 minutes. If still tied after first overtime, the 2nd overtime is sudden death. First point wins.

· Timeouts from regulation do not carry over into overtime. Fouls carry over. One timeout in overtime.

· No press up 20 points

· Running clock with a 25-point lead. Running clock under 2 minutes in the 2nd half with a 20-point lead.

· Players may move on the release at the free throw line

· Players must play on Saturday to be eligible for Sunday games

· Only 2 coaches allowed on each team’s bench. Only 1 coach may stand and coach. No parents or other players should be near the bench while the game is in progress. Scorekeepers may not sit at the scorers table. The bench is for only players participating in the game. No other grade level players may sit on the bench. Parents or Coaches should not approach the score table or come onto the court unless there is an injury.

5th grade and below along with all girl divisions will use a 28.5 ball.
6th grade boys and above will use a 29.5 game ball.

A few changes at Bay High in the later afternoon but good to go.

Hi everyone,
Welcome to the tournament! Excited to see returning and new teams kick off the 2025 season in Panama City. Some general information:

Armbands: $20.00 daily / 35.00 weekend pass
Coach's Bands: Limit 3 per team and must be signed in with proof of ID.
Start time: Please do not expect entry until 20 minutes before first game of each day. Example: We start at 9:00 at Bay High on Saturday. Doors will open at 8:40 AM
Rosters: All teams must have NSID or a "book". Players must be in the books on Saturday to play Sunday. YOU CAN NOT ADD ANY PLAYERS SUNDAY. Violation of this rule is forfeit of all games played with ineligible player and that player is out of the tournament.
Schedule: It's a request not a guarantee but think we took care of all of you to the best of our abilities for Saturday. No requests for Sunday please. We can't predict your records in pool play. Our last games tip at 4;00 PM Sunday,

CODE OF CONDUCT: We ask that you are respectful of the players, fans, referees, and workers who are involved in this tournament. Abusive language, fighting, or disrespect of the game that we all love will not be tolerated. Anyone in violation of our code of conduct is subject to immediate removal from the venue and if applicable, subject to criminal prosecution. Let's ball and have fun everyone. Hate we even have to type this but for legal purposes we have to post.

Game balls: The home team is required to provide the game ball. The home team can choose to defer this to visiting team.

Statisticians and videographers: Please refrain from filming or keeping stats at the scorer's table. Each team is allowed 2 coaches on their bench during a game along with a statistician. Videographers are not allowed to film on the players side of the court. You can fill from the baseline or corners but can not be on the bench or at the scorer's table.

Scorer's table: We will provide book and clock operators for all games. No one can approach the table except for a coach or player to check in. This includes organization directors.

Next team up: We respectfully ask that you don't stand or get prepped right behind a current game's bench. All of our gyms have room for pre game. Again, please no one on the player side of games including the next game up teams.

Rules: We will have a separate post with game rules to include foul shots, game times, running clock vs stop clock times, etc.

Schedule changes: We might have an alteration here and there. If we make any changes to the master schedule we will post an alert from exposure to check schedules.

Again, thanks so much for coming to ball with us this weekend. Great field with teams from five different states. It's early in the season and if your having uniform issues, please email us so we can assist in finding a solution. All teams must have a matching uniform with visible numbers showing. If you have not received yours yet (I have heard this from a couple of teams), shoot us an email and we have a solution.

We would like to start programming tonight since the tourney is sold out but can't do that until teams are paid. If you have not paid and don't intend on coming please let us know We will remove any non-paid teams on Wednesday morning. Thanks all, let's get them in so we can get this schedule out or delete the non paid teams.

We are excited to announce we are close to a waiting list for this tournament. If you are receiving this email we have your team(s) reserved for our tournament in beautiful Panama City, Florida.

We will post the schedule no later than Thursday at 5:00 PM but plan on having it out much earlier.

Teams that are not paid by Tuesday could potentially lose their guaranteed spot. All divisions have made on both the girls and both sides. We will be using six courts at 4 different venues for this tournament (Bay HS, Rutherford HS, North Bay Haven HS, and Jinks Middle school.
