Where it All Begins
1. Schedule Updates
Please continuously review the schedule in the KB Sports Basketball app or website online today. Do NOT go off of screen shots in team group chats or text messages. Bracket play and elimination games begin Saturday. The schedule will be updated in live time.
2. NO FIGHTING
This event has a Zero Tolerance fighting policy. Punishments will be severe in nature for actions deemed as fighting. Punishments will be handled on a case by case basis by the tournament directors of this event.
3. Rosters
All are locked ONLINE. No write-ins, No changes and No additions ATFER CHECH IN.
4. Admission Tickets - No Cash, Online or Cards are accepyed.
5.Clear Bag Policy.

All Teams are REQUIRED to come to Stockbridge High School to check-in even if your first game is at another GYM.
Registration will be Friday (7/25) from 4PM-9PM and Saturday (7/26) from 6AM-7PM ONLY at Stockbridge High School.
Registration will NOT BE open Sunday.

You must come to Stockbridge High School to submit your paperwork (waivers, eligibility books,) and receive your credentials to get into the any GYM.

ATHLETE VERIFICATION:
1. Proof of Age & Photo ID
Acceptable Forms
- An unexpired Passport
- Valid Driver’s License
- Department of Motor Vehicles I.D. card issued within three (3) years
- Military Dependent I.D.
- The current year school ID (2024-25) w/picture and a copy of a birth certificate
- Electronic Age Verification through National Sports ID
2. Proof of Grade
Acceptable Forms
- Report card for the current school year which shows name, grade and school.
- Confirmation of grade level from a school administrator (guidance counselor, principal, dean, etc.) on school letterhead - National Sports ID with grade verification.
Multiple Teams Participation
A player is not allowed to participate on two different teams within the same grade level.
A player is not allowed to participate on two different teams in two different organizations.
A player who meets all eligibility guidelines may only participate in up to two different grade levels
within the same tournament provided both teams belong to the same organization, and have an
identical team name. However, a player may not participate in a semi-final or championship game
unless he/she participated in at least one game with each team prior to the semi-final or
championship game.
A player that meets all eligibility requirements and participates in two different grade levels must
be officially listed on both rosters in Exposure Basketball.
A player is not allowed to play or participate in two or more games at the same time.
Protest Procedures
Official protests must meet all of the following guidelines:
Upon alleged infraction, protest must be communicated immediately to the official scorer’s table by the head coach (or assistant coach if the head coach has been ejected).
PROTEST MUST BE SUBMITTED BEFORE THE GAME OR BY THE END OF THE 1ST QUARTER OF A GAME.
Protest must be communicated in writing to the Site Director or front end staff by the head coach, assistant coach, or team administrator.
A $150.00 (cash) fee must accompany the written protest and be delivered to the site director or front end staff at the time of the protest.
Protests pertaining to an official’s judgment call will not be considered. Protests in which a potential rule infraction has occurred may be considered if the infraction had a direct impact on the outcome of the game and falls within the guidelines of the correctable error rules.
A committee will consider all protests and make every attempt to provide a fair ruling.
Successful protests will result in refund of the $150.00 protest fee.
Unsuccessful protests will result in forfeiture of the $150.00 protest fee
Protest will not be considered at the conclusion of a game.
KB Sports Championship GAME RULES
CLOCK: Clock will stop at time outs, dead balls, and free throws. If a team is up by 20 points
in the second half (3rd and 4th quarter), the clock will run until the lead is under 15 points.
PLAYING TIMES:
2nd through 6th Grade Four 6 minute quarters
7th through 12th Grade Four 8 minute quarters
Last .10 Seconds of the 4th Quarter and overtime, with a Timeout you can advance the ball to half court.
Only the designated head coach may stand up during the game.
➔ No seatbelting coaches after being assessed a technical foul, so allowed to stand post technical foul.
➔ Coaches will be ejected on their 2nd technical and must leave the building. **Subject to change by event organizer**
HALFTIME 2 minute half time WARM UP: 3 minutes or the time left until the scheduled start time
TIMEOUTS: Each team will have 2 per half (one full and one 30 second), one 30 sec. timeout in
overtime. Time outs do not carry over.
FOULS: Players will foul out after 6 fouls. (5 fouls per quarter one and one / 7+ fouls Per quarter 2Shots)
TEAM FOUL COUNT WILL RESET AFTER QUARTER (4TH QTR TEAM FOULS WILL CARRY OVER INTO OVERTIME)
OVERTIME: 1 min.stopped clock (After the first overtime, the first team to score wins the game)
GRACE TIME: 5 minute wait period. Teams must have a minimum of 4 players for the game to begin.
(The tournament director has the discretion to allow more time, if feasible)
Full Court Pressure: If a team gains a lead of 20 points or more in the 2nd Half, the leading team will NOT be allowed to apply full court pressure against the opposing team until the point differential
drops below 15 points. Failure to adhere to this rule will 1st result in a team warning, 2nd technical
fouls will be enforced on the leading team. This rule applies to 6th grade and under.
Basketball Size: 1st grade and 2nd grade Boys/Girls 27.5 circumference basketball.
-3rd through 6th Grade Boys/3rd through 12th Grade Girls 28.5 circumference basketball.
-7th Grade Boys through 12th grade 29.5 circumference basketball.
-Home team is responsible for the game ball.
AGE/GRADE BASED COMPETITION RULES (will be used at KB Sports National Championships)
7U/1st Grade
An athlete can be no older than 7 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 1st grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 7U/1st Grade division.
8U/2nd Grade
An athlete can be no older than 8 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 2nd grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 8U/2nd Grade division.
9U/3rd Grade
An athlete can be no older than 9 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 3rd grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 9U/3rd Grade division.
10U/4th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 10 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 4th grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 10U/4th Grade division.
11U/5th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 11 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 5th grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 11U/5th Grade division.
12U/6th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 6th grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 12U/6th Grade division.
13U/7th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 7th grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 13U/7th Grade division.
14U/8th Grade
An athlete can be no older than 14 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 8th grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2025, is eligible to compete in the 14U/8th Grade division.
15U/9TH GRADE
An athlete can be no older than 15 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 9th Grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2025 is eligible to compete in the 15U/9th Grade division.
16U/10TH GRADE
An athlete can be no older than 16 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 10th Grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2025 is eligible to compete in the 16U/10th Grade division.
17U/11TH GRADE
An athlete can be no older than 17 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 11th Grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 18 on or before August 31, 2025 is eligible to compete in the 17U/11th Grade division.
19U/12TH GRADE
An athlete can be no older than 19 on or before August 31, 2025. Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 12th Grade as of October 1, 2024 and who is no older than 20 on or before August 31, 2025 is eligible to compete in the 19U/12th Grade division.

KB Sports National tournaments offered to all levels of travel teams to compete for D1 National Championships , for the championship Rings. D2 win Rings as well. Teams will compete in excellent local facilities, against a range of teams and levels, in a well organized, family friendly environment for affordable prices for both teams and spectators.

CLEAR BAG POLICY WILL BE ENFORCED AT ALL GYMS AT ALL TIMES!!!!
KB Sports - RULES CHECK-IN 2 COACHES BANDS WILL BE PROVIDED DURING THE CHECK IN PROCESS. THESE BANDS MUST BE WORN THROUGHOUT THE TOURNAMENT. IF BANDS ARE MISPLACED COACHES WILL HAVE TO PAY ENTRY FEE.
