Hardwood Inc Basketball & LBI Carolina would like to welcome you to the 6th Annual March Madness Tournament. We have provided you with all the information you will need for this weekend. Please read over all information carefully and pass this information on to you team and parents. We look forward to an exciting fun filled weekend!

Check-In: 
 
All teams must check-in at the gym where they play their first game. Doors to the facilities will not open until 7:30am on Saturday & Sunday, please inform your parents and players. Only (3) coach’s bands will be given out, if they are taken off or lost no other arm bands will be issued.
 
All players must be in full uniform (jersey and shorts) or have the full uniform (jersey and shorts) in their hand when they enter the gym. Coaches, please help us with this by making sure that your players are in full uniform, or they will not be allowed to enter the facility (no exceptions).
 
Schedules:
Schedules will be posted on the Hardwood Inc Basketball app & LBI Carolina app (on the Hardwood Inc app it’s the second tournament down, not the first one). Please inform your parents to download the app from the app store on their phones. The Schedule link is also below.

Game Rules



1. National High School Federation rules will be followed with the few exceptions listed below.

2. All free throws are played on the release!!!

3. Each player will be allowed a total of six (6) fouls before being disqualified.

4. All Games will be played in two (2) Fourteen (14) minute stop-clock halves.

5. The first overtime period will be sudden death. The first team to score two (2) points wins.

6. There will be a two (2) minute rest period between halves.

7. Teams will be allowed to call two (2) full time-outs and two (2) thirty second time-out during the regulation game.

8. There will be a minimum of a three (3) minute warm-up period between games.

9. All teams are expected to arrive for games AT LEAST 30 min prior to the scheduled start times. A ten- minute grace period will be allowed before a forfeit is declared.

10.Coaches must enter their team roster (number and last name) in the book before each game.

11.Bonus (1&1) will begin on the 10th foul. No Double bonus.

12.Running clock will start when a team is up 20 points in the second half only! If the lead goes under 20, the clock will stop again.
