Each team will play two pool games.

Rings given to 1st place winners.

Teams limited to 15 players per Roster.

Players CANNOT player on multiple teams in the same age bracket.

After pool games teams will be seeded into a single elimination bracket.

Each game will have two halves with a running clock.

All games will be officiated by VHSL Officials.

Daily Youth Admission - $10 (ages 6 -13)

SPECTATOR BEHAVIOR
Officials will speak to both Teams concerning the Spectator Behavior. The coaching staff should speak to disruptive spectators. If spectator behavior does not improve, stoppage of play is executed. Spectator has 2 minutes to leave the venue, failure will result in a team forfeit. NO OUTSIDE FOOD ALLOWED. SPECTATOR STEPS ON THE FLOOR, THEY WILL BE REMOVED FROM GYM. IF YOU ARE UNABLE TO COMPLY, STAY HOME!

Athletes, coaches, administrators, spectators, and all other persons connected directly or indirectly with registered TEAM, shall adhere to the principles of good sportsmanship and the ethics of competition before, during and after all contests in which they participate and/or attend. The head coach shall be held strictly accountable for unsportsmanlike conduct on the part of its competitors, coaches and spectators.

If a player, spectator, or coach is ejected by an official, they must leave the gym immediately. Failure to comply will result in the disqualification of the associated team.

Zero Tolerance
No Aggressive Behavior and No Intimidation to a person within the facility. Non-compliance will result in the immediate Ejection from the Venue and Event
No Profanity – Non-Compliance will result in the immediate Ejection from the Venue and Event
No Fighting – Team is ejected from event, authorities called, and possible criminal charges file



Coach Check-In
Coaches must check-in 30 minutes prior to the start of their first game(8am games 20 mins early is fine). Coaching bands are administered to no more than 2 coaches per team.

Bands must be worn the entire length of the event; removal will require payment for re-entry into the venue. Coaches must be 18 years of age to obtain a coaching band and to sit on the team bench.

Players not listed on roster at check in WILL NOT be eligible to play later in the day. BANDS CANNOT BE USED FOR FRIENDS OR FAMILY! PLAYERS AND COACHING STAFF ONLY!




Tickets / Wristbands
Spectators and COACHES must wear wristbands in person; they are not a family band but an individual band. Failure to have on person will result in repayment. Coaches must have their wristband on in person the entire day. Lead by example and keep your band on your wrist.



ROSTER RULES
-A player may participate in a maximum of two separate age/grade divisions. They must meet the age/grade eligibility for both divisions they are playing in. Each player must be on the roster for both teams and the player must play within the same organization for both teams. Players can NOT play on two teams within the same age/grade division.

-In order to be eligible to play in all games, including pool play games and bracket play games, players must be on the hard copy roster turned in to the tournament director during team check-in.

-Hard copy rosters must be turned in at each individual tournament.

-Teams must have a current roster with them (along with all paperwork for each player). Teams must have this paperwork (report cards/birth certificates for each player) with them at all times during the tournament.




Player Documentation
Team coaches are responsible to ensure that all players meet the player eligibility guidelines. Failure to comply, will result in team disqualification. We STRONGLY RECOMMEND that one of the following be available for review or validation:

Player Proof of Age (one of the following)

1. Clean Copy of Birth Certificate and Current Report Card

2. Government Issued ID with D.O.B. and Current Report Card

To protest player age eligibility 100$ cash must be presented to the tournament director BEFORE start of the game. Opposing team must provide proper identification or forfeit.



Grade/Age Requiremnts:

- This is a GRADE BASED tournament. Players must show proof of enrollment on October 31, 2024 in the Grade of the bracket he/she wishes to participate. For Example, for 8th grade bracket players must be able to show proof of enrollment in 8th grade on October 31, 2025.

- Age base rules ~Only used for player exception~ for age based players must be the age of the backet they wish to play in on the date of tournament or birthday be within 15 days.

- Players can also be in a different grade division, as long as their age meets the
respected division requirement. Example: A 9th grader, who is 14U and does not turn 15U before the tournament date.

Game Rules

Teams must be ready to tip-off at game time. Exceeding this time by 3 minutes will be considered a forfeit (SEE EXCEPTION BELOW). Teams must have a minimum of 4 players to start a game.

Exception: The tournament director can allow a grace period for unforeseen circumstances. (Example: Traffic conditions). This can only happen when the team is communicating its difficulties. Only the tournament director or state office staff member can forfeit a game. Officials do not have the authority to forfeit a game.

Games could start 15-30 mins early. We WILL start the game EARLY if we are AHEAD so we advise everyone to be 30 MINS EARLY TO EACH GAME. If unable to be on time, contact the tournament director.

· TEAMS MUST REMOVE ALL DEBRIS AFTER EACH GAME

· Clock stops on “Stoppage of play” exceeding 5 seconds (Clock will stop on Whistle, then final TWO MINUTES of SECOND HALF) other than that clock continues to RUN.

· 16 mins per half (Ages 14U – 18U / 8th – 12th Grade)

· 14 mins per half (Ages 10U – 13U / 4th - 7th Grade)

· 3 Min warm-up

· 2 Min halftime

·2 full and 2 30 sec timeouts per game

· Overtime consist of 2 min, each team having one full timeout; sudden death in 3rd Overtime (first team to score)

· Free throws are "ON THE RELEASE”

· Each player has 5 fouls before disqualification

· DOUBLE BONUS on 8th Foul

· Only 1 coach can stand during game

· Home team will provide the official scorekeeper with the visiting team keeping the clock if needed. TEAM DEPICTED ON LEFT OR TOP OF SCHEDULE IS HOME and should use WHITE or LIGHT colored jerseys.

· High School Federation Rules apply for all other scenarios

Slaughter Rule: Clock runs when the opposing team is trailing by 15 points. Clock will stop on the whistle, when the deficit reaches 10 or below.

We are still waiting on payment from some teams before schedule can be fully updated. If you have not submitted payment by 8pm tonight you will unfortunately be removed from schedule.

Schdedule will be released no later than 8pm THURSDAY night.
