Boys Qualifier 2025 McClintock

Coaches -

We had a situation last night with a basket after a dunk during warm-ups. It delayed the game a little bit. To avoid that from happening again, we are going to ask players not to dunk during warm-ups.

I realize this is 2025 and not 1965 and I am in the camp of dunking should be allowed during warm-ups...but last night made me rethink that!

Looking forward to some great games today.

You will get your team packet with player & coach credentials at Team Check-in, located to your immediate right when you come in the main entrance.

You can check in before your first game. Players and coaches will not be able to enter the gym without credentials so you will need to give to your players in the lobby before you enter.

Reminder that there will be balls on site and players will need to provide their own water on the bench.

Rosters
We have extended getting Coaches Packets printed to tormorrow afternoon. PLEASE get rosters completed and/or cleaned up in Exposure by 11:30 am tomorrow.

Make sure to make former players 'Inactive'. You will only be allowed to have 15 players on the roster. We want all players in the coaches packet so make sure to take care of your roster.

Credentials
At check-in, you will receive:
>5 Coach credentials
>15 Player credentials
>1 Team Media credentail

We cannot budge on this. We will not be able to give you extra credentials.

Uniforms
AIA has allowed Arizona teams to wear game uniforms. We encourage you to have your teams wear game uniforms opposed to practice gear. You will need home and away uniforms available.

Coach Dress Code
All coaches on your bench are required to wear a collared shirt. No hats, head bands, sunglasses, airpods, backpacks, filming equipment is allowed while coaching from any coach on the bench.

What to Bring?
Balls: We will have balls on site for warmups.

Water: Have your players bring thier own water bottles. The venue does not allow for water coolers to be on the floor - teams will be requied to bring their own water.

We came to realize that the time zone on the schedule is eastern time zone. The game times are Arizona time. If you play at 1:00 on the schedule, you are playing at 1:00 Arizona time.

We are efforting to get the time zone changed on the schedule.

Coaches -

PLEASE let your families know to purchase tickets online asap - they are selling pretty quickly and will have a cap on how many we can sell. Once the cap hits, we cannot let anybody purchase one at the door.

Our biggest fear is that families, especially out of state, will not be able to get a ticket at the event. They are going to hold firm to capacity numbers.

Thank you to those that have input your rosters and player info into Cache AI.

I know some of you have had some difficulty with the rosters. Here is some info in how to input in Exposure.

We are going to extend teh date of submitting your roster to May 26th. PLEASE get this completed by then. We need some time to get rosters together for coaches packet.

Rosters into Exposure
If you have been in the event and have submitted rosters in the past, it will still have players on your roster from previous events.

**You CANNOT DELETE players from your roster. You have to make them inactive.

How to remove former players that are not on your current roster
1. Select the player you want to remove.
2. Click on 'ACTIONS' (top left)
3. Click on 'Status'
4. Click 'Disable'

The player will still be on your list of players but will be grayed out and will not go towards your 15 allotted roster spots.

Modify player information that is already on the roster and will be on current roster
1. Click on the player
2. Make sure to update grade and any other info that needs to be updated (number, height, weight, gpa, etc)

How to add a new player to your roster
1. Click '+ PLAYER' (top right)
2. Fill in player information.

Cache AI
Please have your players fill this out as well - their Cache score will be in the coaches' packet. Just give your players the password for the website to get into Cache AI and have them fill it out. It does not take long.

Rosters
Rosters submitted on Exposure and player input into Cache AI are due May 22nd. We understand some changes can happen after May 22nd. If you need to make changes to the roster after May 22nd, that is okay - we just cannot guarantee those changes will be made on the coaches packet.

Wednesday, June 18th: First game will be at 9:05 am; Last game at 1:25

All teams will be guaranteed 3 games. Teams that win their first 3 games, they will have a 4th game.

Teams will not play more than two games on a day.

The first game will be at 9:00 am on Tuesday, June 17th. The last game will be 4:00 pm on Saturday, June 18th.

The game schedule will be out June 1st.

HOTELS
If you have questions about hotels, go to the Section 7 website and click on the 'TEAM COMPLIANCE' tab on top of the website. There is contact information for questions regarding hotels.

PAYMENT
Payment is due May 1st. There is a 'PAYMENTS' tab on the website. All payments are made through the website. There is a PO option as well on the website.

Please put PO in the subject.

We know there have been some issues with turnaround on PO questions. This line has been cleaned up. Appreciate your patience with this.

ROSTERS
Please input your rosters in Exposure by May 22nd. Changes can be made to your roster up until May 22nd.
