General Information
DATE OF EVENT: FRIDAY, JULY 24th – SATURDAY, JULY 25th, 2025, Games begin at 8:00
AM FRIDAY. If your team cannot play at this time, do not sign up.
LOCATION: NASSAU, BAHAMAS
CHECK-IN: THURSDAY JULY 23, 2025, A coach, bench personnel, or team media
representative listed on the roster is eligible to check-in the team at the team mixer
OR at least two (2) hours prior to their first game. This person may check-in all the
athletes. Athletes do not have to individually check-in at this event. Each coach,
bench personnel, or team media representative must be on the roster, check
themselves in individually, and have a valid photo ID for credentials to be issued.
ENTRY FEE: $500.00/Team and $200 for each additional team within organization. All
entries, payments, and rosters must be submitted online. No exceptions. To register,

ENTRY DEADLINE: JUNE 15, 2025.
SPECTATOR ADMISSION: Daily Admission: $20.00/adult and youth (ages 3-9).
Weekend Pass for any tournament play/covers ALL locations $45.00
RULES OF PLAY: Competition will follow the rules and regulations as specified in the
NFHS Boys Basketball Handbook with the below modifications. If a rule is not
addressed in the handbook or below, rules will default to AAU Basketball rules.
Games will utilize quarters not halves. Jersey numbers are required on the front
and/or back of jerseys.
TEAM ROSTER: Minimum10 players and 2 coaches, bench personnel, and/or team
media representatives on a roster. All individuals above must be current members of
a registered team and cannot switch teams during tournament play for any reason.
ATHLETE VERIFICATION: Eligibility Documents must be available for review, by an
event designee at all designated locations for tournament play. If the documents are
not available, the team is subject to removal from the competition. Acceptable
documents include any of the following: 1. Proof of Age (birth Certificate, state issued
ID, unexpired passport, military dependent ID, electronic age verification.) 2. Proof of
Grade (most recent report card, school ID, school portal login) If an athlete meets the
age only criteria for this event, proof of age is only required. If an athlete needs to
apply a grade exception rule to be eligible for their divisions, that person must have
proof of age and current grade. This information should be housed in a physical or
digital “ELIGIBILITY BOOK.” This book may be requested to be seen by a member of
the EVENT STAFF during the tournament. Failure to have proper documentation at
registration or during the event may result in athlete or team disqualification.
CONTESTED BOYS’ DIVISIONS: 10U/4th Grade, 11U/5th Grade, 12U/6th Grade,
13U/7th Grade, 14U/8th Grade 15U/9TH Grade and 16U/10TH Grade, (To find out what
division your team is eligible for, please contact event staff. The EVENT STAFF reserve
the right to move teams to different divisions if it is determined ineligible athletes are
listed on the roster.)
CONTESTED SKILL LEVELS COMPETITION: There will be a THREE POINT CONTEST and
SKILLS CHALLENGE CONTEST. There will be a competition within the division first.
Each winner from each grade level division will advance to a final round to compete
for a cash prize of $1,000.00 (us dollars). If there are enough player to contest a skill
level within a division separately from other skill levels, the schedule will reflect this.
SCHEDULES/RESULTS: Schedules and results will be posted at the designated
gymnasium locations as well as the sponsored websites. A pool play system will be
used, leading to bracket play to give teams a minimum of 3 games guaranteed. Teams
must play all scheduled games or penalties may be applied.
AWARDS: Awards will be given to all first and second place teams. Individual Rings
and a team award will be awarded to first (1) place teams. Medals and a team award
will be awarded to all second (2) place teams.
STATEMENT OF IMPORTANCE: The EVENT STAFF cannot and does not guarantee the
appearance and/or participation of specific participant(s) and/or teams (as
applicable) in this event. The EVENT STAFF is not and shall not be responsible for any
participant's or spectator's expenses related to this Event (nor reimbursements for
same) in case of dissatisfaction of any participant, friend, family, or spectator, this
includes, but is not limited to all travel, hotel (lodging), food, entry fees and/or any
other expenses related to the event.
ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY: The EVENT STAFF has ZERO TOLERANCE for fighting.
Coaches should meet with your parents, athletes and fellow coaches and advise them
that any act of aggression will be met with severe consequences for individuals, team
and club. Please know and understand that formal criminal charges may be pursued.
If a fight breaks out, the gym supervisor or referees may clear the gym of all spectators
if deemed necessary and no refunds will be given. Parents and spectators are
prohibited from offensive or hostile language towards the coaches, athletes, referees
or other parents before, during or after the games. Disorderly behavior will not be
tolerated. It is the coaches’ responsibility to maintain your teams’ sportsmanship. We
suggest you print this memo and distribute it to your fellow coaches, parents and
athletes. This includes local and national competition. Fighting will not be tolerated.
