Coach,

I have enabled the ability to purchase the "Gift" Memberships for other members of your staff.

It is CRITICAL that when you follow this process, that you provide that other coach's email address, and not re-use yours for each membership. Each coach will recieve an email with instructions on how to finish the process themselves. Reusing your email address for each gift membership will overwrite your account and cause massive issues at check-in.

Here are some helpful instructions:

Check your Membership Status

(1) Go to https://fabchoops.com and click Log In

(2) Click Subscriptions to see your Membership status

(3) If you don’t have a Membership with status of “Active”, then click the Buy Annual Membership link

To Purchase or Renew a Membership for yourself

(1) Go to https://fabchoops.com.

- If you are a returning member, click Log In to get to your account.
- If you are a new member, or don’t recall the email address you registered with, click Membership.

(2) It is *highly advised* that you use a personal email address.

(3) Select your Membership level (Annual or Lifetime), complete the registration form, enter your payment info, and click Sign Up.

(4) You’ll receive a confirmation email and be directed to a Thank You screen. You’re done! Thanks for being an FABC Member…

To Purchase or Renew a Membership for a member of your staff

(1) Go to https://fabchoops.com and make sure you are logged in

(2) Click Membership

- You should see a message “NOTE: Since you already have an active membership, we are assuming that this is a gift purchase.”

(3) Ensure the “Is this a gift?” checkbox is checked.

(4) Enter payment info, and click Sign Up.

(5) A new pop-up window will be shown that says “Send Gift Email”. Put your name and the other coach’s Name and Email Address, along with any message.

- Double check that in step 5 you put the other coach’s email address, not the email for the account you are logged in with.
- Failure to use a different email for this step will cause issues for the account you are logged in with.

(6) Click Send to send the email, and they will get an email with a link to complete their portion of the registration (they might need to check spam). The other coach must take action on this or else their registration will not be complete.

(7) For some reason, if you don’t fully get the email sent from this screen, see the instructions to check the Gifted Membership Status to resend.

To check the Gifted Membership Status

(1) Go to https://fabchoops.com and click Log In

(2) Click Gifts to see a list of Gift Memberships purchased

(3) If Gift Memberships are unclaimed, this screen will have links to resend the email.

Please reach out to contact@fabchoops.com with any questions.

Thanks,
Chuck

Coaches,

I just reviewed the rosters and many teams do not have adequate information in their Team's Event Roster in Exposure Events.

You need to have Jersey Numbers and Class per player, and you need to deactivate any player who graduated 2025 or earlier.

Rosters are due by 9pm Monday, as we go to print Tuesday morning for the College Coach packets.

The coach who registered for the event should log into their Exposure Events Coach Account Dashboard and validate their roster here: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/coaches

Please take 2 minutes to double check this is complete.

Thanks,
Chuck

Coach,

A couple of final reminders as we get ready for this year’s FABC Conrad P. Foss Scholastic NCAA Live Period Showcase…

- All Coaches on the Bench must be both listed in your Exposure Events Coach Roster AND active FABC Members.

- Head Coaches - update your Assistant Coaches in Exposure Events here: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/coaches

- All Coaches need Active FABC Memberships, register or renew here: https://fabchoops.com/membership/

- When purchasing FABC membership, each coach MUST use their own email address. If you use the same email address for every coach on the staff, it will not work correctly and will cause you delays when you check in.

- Head Coaches who wish to purchase memberships for their staff - details on this process will follow in a 2nd email.

- Membership expires on 3/31 each year

- Only coaches who are both on the Exposure Events Roster AND Active FABC Members will get Coach Credentials

Some highlights of the Event Rules:

- You MUST wear your SCHOOL uniforms and are highly recommended to wear your regular season uniforms. No CLUB uniforms will be allowed.

- Print out scoresheets for each of your games! Go to the Teams area of your Coach Account: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/coaches#teams - You’ll see a link on the right side of the screen

- Bring your own trainer supplies / tape / etc.

- Bring your own warm up basketballs

- Proper Coach Attire required - Polos required, No Hats, School Name or Logo on Shirts

Details on these, and much more in the rules: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/242531/fabc-boys-showcase-2025-week-2/documents

- The Live Stream is from SportsEngine Play - Click to Access all the action!

- Coaches will be required to do a 30-second hotel survey upon team check-in

- We never want to see it, but occasionally we will have a team cancel at the last minute. If you’d like to get on our Standby Team list to pick up an extra game at no cost, please put your contact info in here: Boys Regional Showcase – Team Standby List

Reach out with any questions - contact@fabchoops.com

Thanks,
Chuck

Coach,

Roster updates are now due in Exposure Events.

Each player on your roster must be enrolled at your school at the time of the event. No exceptions.

Accurate Rosters (athlete and coaching staff) in Exposure Events are mandatory for the FABC Scholastic Live Period Events.

Here’s why:

(1) Our events are NCAA Certified Events, so all athletes and coaches who participate are submitted to the NCAA Basketball Certification System.

(2) All Rosters (athletes and coaching staff) are printed and provided to the attending College Coaches to recruit your players.

(3) Incomplete information for your players, e.g., Names, Numbers, Contact info, Graduation Year, Grades, Measurables, etc., will hurt your players’ chances for being properly evaluated by a College Coach.

** Missing athlete and coach information in your roster can result in not being invited to future FABC Team Showcase events. **

Rosters are due in Exposure Events by the evening of Thursday, June 5th. Coaching Packets will go to the printer the following morning.

Updating rosters is easy. Doing this on a computer, not a mobile phone, is highly recommended.

Please follow these instructions carefully.

(1) The coach who registered for the event should log into their Exposure Events Coach Account here: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/coaches

(2) From the “Upcoming Events" Dashboard, you will have a list of events your team has registered for.

(3) On the right side of the screen, you’ll find columns for “Roster” and “Coaches”.

(4) If you have a team roster already entered, you’ll find the number of players on the roster as the link to edit the roster. Please click it. If you have no players on your roster, you will see a + symbol button, please click it.

(5) If you want to provide your roster for *only 1 event*, you can click the blue "Bulk Edit" button and add players and coaches.

(6) If you want to retain your roster and use it for *multiple events*, you can click the blue “Primary Roster” button and add players.

(7) Important fields to include for players:

- Jersey #
- Name
- Graduation Year
- Height
- Weight
- Position
- Email
- Phone

(8) Important fields for Coaches

- Name
- Email
- Phone
- Address - can use the school address

Thank you for your prompt attention to this very important administrative duty for your players.

If you have any questions, please email contact@fabchoops.com

Thanks,
Chuck

Coaches,

Due to some team withdrawals and significant circumstances, we've adjusted some of the pools and games.

Please review your schedules closely for updates.

Thanks,
Chuck

5/25/2025 1:12 AM

Coaches,

Thanks for your patience while we put the final touches on the schedule.

It is now published on the website: https://basketball.exposureevents.com/242531/fabc-boys-showcase-2025-week-2/schedule

We will be sending out details in the coming weeks, but please make sure you find the hotel details on the Travel/Lodging link.

Things to be preparing for:

1) All Coaches on the bench must be both (a) listed in Exposure Events and (b) active FABC Members - renew your membership here: https://fabchoops.com/membership/

2) You will wear your HIGH SCHOOL uniforms, not travel / club uniforms to this event. You are encouraged to wear your regular season uniforms.

3) Please start collecting your roster information. We know some teams have summer tryouts on June 1st. We will send reminders and make a final call for rosters the first week of June, so we can get them printed for the college coach packet.

Thanks,
Chuck
