Heart of Texas Fall Kickoff

We would like to thank your program and families for ​attending the ​Fall Kickoff last Saturday! We hope everyone had a fun and competitive ​event.

Please keep us in mind as you ​fill out your ​future tournament schedule​s.

We hope your week is going well. A few essential updates/reminders:

Divisions that have brackets: Locate brackets by going to the TXBA app, tapping on divisions, choosing your division, then tapping on brackets.

Gym addresses can be found on the TXBA app under Venues.

If you play at Southwestern University, please stay downstairs at all times. There is plenty of standing room, as well as chair and bleacher seating. You are also welcome to bring your own chair if you'd like.

Attached is the tournament Code of Conduct. Please read and share with your coaches/families.

Thanks for competing in the ​​​Fall Kickoff event on ​​​September 20th! We look forward to seeing your athletes and coaches in the gym this ​Saturday.

Please let your parents know that gyms will open no earlier than 30 minutes before the 8am games.

Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$15/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)

​We will send updated rules in a follow up email later this week. Please keep in mind players cannot play down in grade level. Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams for the same organization in the event. Also take note of the sportsmanship rules and new free throw rules. Please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the players to enjoy the sport they love.
