PLEASE LET YOUR PARENTS KNOW THAT THE CLOCK STOPS ON FREE THROWS AND UNDER TWO MINUTES. NOT ON EVEYR WHISTLE FOR POOL PLAY GAMES. We want to avoid anyone yelling at the clock operators, because they don't know the rules. Thank You!

All coaches listed on the Vertical Hoops app (through the roster entry), two max per team, should report to the coach's check-in upon arrival. At check-in all coaches will receive a lanyard/badge, which will allow you onto the sideline. You will also receieve a wristband that must be worn to gain free entry for the weekend. Hello all,
As we begin are close out and schedule relaese for our January Mohegan Sun Event, we are looking to close out invoices that our unpaid.

All invoices must be paid by this Friday December 5th at 9:00am
We do have and extremely large waiting list of teams looking to get in to this event.
After this Friday, we will unfortunaley have have remove non paid teams to make rooms for waiting list teams.

If you have already paid your invoice please disregard this tournament wide message. We are currently on waitlist status for around 70% of our age divisions so we are asking that all outstanding invoices be paid so we can free up room for teams on the waitlists or let them know that we are soldout in those divisions.

We are excited and looking forward to another great winter championship event at Mohegan Sun to kickoff the new year.




This year’s event will be held Friday, January 2 through Sunday, January 4,2026




We are currently over 70% filled for this event with approximately 75 total spots left for this event.

With big town travel programs still pending registration, we expect to be sold out by Nov 15 if not sooner.

Please note all games this year will be played at Mohegan Sun convention center. We will not be using any other than you this year .

In order to make this possible, we will be running games for this event beginning Friday. We do anticipate on releasing the schedule early again for this event to help accommodate travel coordination

We are exicted as we get closer to our Winter Championships at Mohegan Sun Jan 2-4th.We are rapidly approching sell out as we currently have over 250 teams registered and only have 20 spots left at this time before we begin to open up the waiting list. If your program is looking to put teams into this event, please reach out via email to mario@verticalhoops.com to register as we will be full very soon.
If you currently have teams registered and are potentially looking to register more teams, please reach out asap aswell

Do remember this years event will Run Game from Friday night Jan 2nd thru Sunday Jan 4th. All games this year will be played at the Mohegan Sun Convention Center and no other venues for the convenience for all families and programs.
