The Lab Holiday Showcase JAN 2TH-4TH offers the following divisions. Any documents can be viewed, printed or downloaded.
11U DIVISION
U11 Division Description The U11 division of The Lab Holiday Showcase aims to further develop young players' basketball skills while fostering a love for the game. This division is designed to challenge athletes while maintaining a focus on enjoyment and learning. Key Features: Age Group: Open to players aged 11 and under. Game Format: Each team is guaranteed 3 games throughout the showcase. Rules: The U11 division will also follow OBLX rules, featuring 4-minute shifts with the first and eighth shifts not counting towards fair play; shifts 2-7 will adhere to fair play guidelines. Skill Development: Coaches are encouraged to build on foundational skills, teaching teamwork, communication, and game strategy. Competitive Play: Teams will compete for advancement to the semifinals and finals, providing valuable tournament experience for young athletes.
15U DIVISION
U15 Division Description The U15 division of The Lab Holiday Showcase is tailored for more experienced young athletes looking to take their game to the next level. This division promotes intense competition while focusing on player development and teamwork. Key Features: Age Group: Open to players aged 15 and under. Game Format: Each team is guaranteed 3 games throughout the showcase. Rules: The U15 division will consist of four 8-minute quarters with standard basketball rules applied. Skill Advancement: Coaches are encouraged to focus on advanced skills, strategies, and teamwork, preparing athletes for higher levels of play. Highly Competitive: Teams will compete for a chance to advance to the semifinals and finals, making this division an exciting experience for serious young players.
