Turkey Classic Schedule

Coaches, Just a friendly reminder that following each game we would like the opposing coach to nominate a player from the other team for all-tournament team. Please write the Opposing players name and number on the back of the score sheet. We may have a staff member asking to take photos of your players throughout the day. Just a quick reminder that each team will be given two coaches bands and one scorekeeper band. All coaches/scorekeepers are REQUIRED to check in at either Byron Center High School or Lee High School prior to their first game. Sign in will entail providing name and team for entry into our shared google doc. This way if your child plays at an earlier time than you coach at a diffferent venue, you will be able to check in at either location, anytime throughout the day.

Coaches/scorekeepers without bands securely fastened to their wrists will be required to pay the spectator fee for entry. There will be no exceptions made!

Coaches, I scrolled to far down on the events. Please disregard the rules that were just sent. Those rules are for the GT event in Cincinnati this weekend. We will shoot out the Turkey Classic rules and information first thing next week. Thank you for your patience with the confusion.

Good morning coaches, just a quick reminder to everyone that all schedule requests and team fees are due Sunday by midnight in order to be put on the schedule and schedule requests honored. Please direct all schedule requests and questions to Sara at 513-578-5703 or via email to grassrootstourneys.com.

Good evening, We hope everyone has had a blessed week. We wanted to touch base as the registration deadline for this event will be Sunday at Midnight. Please be certain to send any game restrictions in writing to grassrootstourneys@gmail.com or text Sara at 513-578-5703. Only restrictions sent in writing prior to the event registration cut-off will be considered when doing the schedule. Once the schedule is released, we will only make changes for requests that we overlooked.
In addition, you have until Sunday at midnight to submit payment. I will be sending out invoices to all teams that are unpaid at this time. You are also welcome to click here to submit payment. Any teams with an outstanding balance at the time of scheduling will not be placed on the schedule. Good evening, we hope everyone has started the week off blessed. We wanted to reach out and welcome your team to the winter season opener and the Turkey Classic.

In an effort to get ahead of things for the Turkey Classic this year, we wanted to reach out and communicate some new Grassroots Tournaments Policies/Procedures. Throughout the off-season grassroots focus was to tighten up the policies and procedures in order to improve the quality of events for all participants. Please review the new policies and procedures below:

Event Policies/Procedures:
🚨This year Grassroots events will require all restrictions from participants (including times, matchups, coaching multiple teams, etc...) be sent at least one week prior to the start of the the event. Restrictions should be sent in writing to grassrootstourneys@gmail.com or via text to Sara at 513-578-5703 at least one week prior to the start date of the event. Only restrictions sent in writing are guaranteed to be honored.
🚨Once the schedule is released, no changes will be made to the schedule unless it is a restriction we received in writing that was overlooked.
🚨Fees will be required to be paid in full prior to scheduling in order to be put on the schedule. Those teams/programs who are not paid prior to the start of scheduling (typically the Sunday prior to the event), will not be placed on the schedule.

Please review and communicate with your teams and let us know if there are any restrictions you would like us to add for your team for the Turkey Classic. In addition, as you register for the future Grassroots Events, we would encourage you to include your restrictions at registration. We look forward to a great winter season and can't wait to get the kids on the court soon.
