Bracket play starts March 7th. You cannot see the schedule for that at this time. Once games are played on February 28th I will make adjustments that will be needed to the schedule and have it released by Monday. EVERYONE will have games.

There are still a couple of divisions that have a few pool play games that will be played early March 2nd. As soon as those games are recorded the brackets will update. Please watch the schedule.

PLEASE review the schedule carefully. There have been updates due to division changes, which required adjustments to the schedule. Thank you for your patience and understanding as we finalize these details.

Please review and share the attached RULES with your teams. There have been updates to the double rostering rule, and it is important that all coaches understand these changes. If you have any questions, please reach out.

ROSTERS:
All rosters must be submitted ONLINE by Friday at 5:00 PM prior to your team’s first game. For Weeks 1 and 2 only, handwritten or “written-in” players will be allowed; however, those players must be added electronically by Friday at 5:00 PM prior to the following week’s game to be considered officially rostered. It is your responsibility to ensure rosters are accurate and updated online—this is not the responsibility of the gym staff.

Week 1 & Week 2 schedules have been released.

Items of Business:

1. Rosters must be provided and updated online
2. Player waivers must be completed (PLAYER WAIVER)
3. Review league rules and sportsmanship expectations with parents and spectators
4. Please ensure your teams clean up after themselves
5. CHECK ROSTERS: Confirm all rosters are correct in the app

Sorry for the delay in releasing the Winter League schedule. I am finalizing teams and divisions. The first week’s schedule will be released on Sunday night.

A few important items to be aware of:
1. Games WILL start Jan. 3rd
2. NO Games Jan. 17th, Feb 14th

3. 🛠 Rule Changes:
No Pressing Rule – Effective Winter Session
To maintain the integrity of our division categories and foster player development, we will enforce a No Pressing Rule in the following divisions:

5th Grade Bronze
4th Grade Bronze
3rd Grade
2nd Grade

4. 📋 Roster Policy:
Rosters will close on January 29th.
No player additions will be allowed after this date.
In the rare case that a roster adjustment is needed after the deadline, it must be approved by the Director; the team will begin the game with a Technical Foul Shot against them.
5. End of Season Tournament:
Players must have participated in at least three (3) pool play games to be eligible for the end-of-season bracket.

For double-rostered players: If a player chooses to play with Team A during pool play when facing a team they are also rostered on (Team B), that player must continue to play with Team A if those teams meet again in bracket play. If Team A is eliminated, the player is finished for the tournament and may not roster or play with Team B for the remainder of the tournament.

Divisions:
We have made a few changes to how divisions are displayed. When you select your grade division, you will now see all teams listed. To view the specific division (pool) your team has been placed in, please use The Battlegrounds App. Go to Divisions, select your Grade, then choose Standings at the top. You will notice that your team has been assigned to a pool.

These pools will not mix for bracket play. The teams in your pool are the teams you will compete against during the Winter Session.
