Road To Nationals - Winnipeg Venues

Great Tourney so far. As we go into the final day, please check over your pools and brackets. The most confusing one is the U14 boys pool. Your pool play will go into another division dependng on how you finished your pool play.

There has been a couple changes to accomadate travel teams so please look out for that.

Good start to the event. I've had a couple people aproach me about wanting to protest a sitaution or 2. I realized I didn't add the protest system to the welcome email. So here it is.

In order to keep the spirit of the game, we added this system last summer. 2 years ago at BBN, we had over 200 protests over a 10 day period. Only 1 was legit. Racing around for people grasping at straws is not fun and not fair to the kids who get ID'd. Putting this system in we went from 200 to 10. All 10 were incorrect. So here is the system.

1: Fill out the official protest form. Attached to this email
2: Pay your $100 to protest. If you are correct, you get it back. If you are wrong, you do not get it back.
3: Be specific of what you are protesting. We will not ID an entire team.
4: Your Protest must be in before that team plays there next game.

Welcome to the Road to Nationals – Winnipeg
We are thrilled to host the Road to Nationals – Winnipeg for the second straight year and are excited to see the event continue to grow.

We want to make sure everyone has the information they need before the tournament begins. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us at info@frontcourtevents.com.

Schedule
Please review the schedule carefully and ensure your team is guaranteed a minimum of four games.

If your pool play schedule contains fewer than four games, one of the following applies:

Your division has a combined playoff bracket that guarantees additional games.
For U14 Boys, teams will be placed into a second pool after the initial round based on their placement in their first pool.
At this time, we are unable to make any further schedule changes. The only adjustments we may consider are:

Correcting a back-to-back game that was scheduled in error.
Accommodating a travel team that requires a time adjustment on the final day due to travel arrangements.

Gate Admissions
Please ensure your parents are aware that there is an admission fee for spectators. It is very helpful when families are informed ahead of time, as it allows our gate staff to focus on providing a positive experience for everyone.

Admission Rates

Adult Day Pass: $10
Adult Tournament Pass: $20
Youth & Senior Day Pass: $5
Youth & Senior Tournament Pass: $10
Rules & Code of Conduct
Please review the attached rules sheet and Code of Conduct prior to arriving at the tournament.

There is one area we would specifically like to highlight. Over the past few years, we have seen a significant increase in incidents involving spectators.

Parents and spectators are not permitted to step onto the playing court at any time, nor are they permitted to engage with referees or opposing players. Any parent or spectator who violates this policy will be removed from the tournament for its entirety. In serious cases, the club they are affiliated with may also be denied entry into future Front Court Events.

We also want to remind teams that any player who throws a punch, attempts to throw a punch, or engages in similar violent conduct risks being suspended for the remainder of the tournament.

We are committed to providing a competitive environment while maintaining a safe and respectful atmosphere for all participants, coaches, officials, and spectators.

Rosters
We print all scoresheets in advance with team rosters already included.

Please ensure your roster has been entered correctly in Exposure, as rosters will be finalized and sent to print tonight.

Streaming & Video
We will not have an official streaming service available for this event.

Parents and spectators are welcome to livestream or record games for friends and family who are unable to attend. This allows supporters to watch at no additional cost.

Locations
Please review your game locations in advance and allow plenty of time for travel between venues if applicable.
