Good Morning Coaches,
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday season. The deadline for the Grassrooots NIT is Monday (1/12/26). So please make sure that entry fees and rosters are submitted prior to next Mondays' deadline. NOTE: No unpaid teams will be placed on the schedule. We are looking forward to seeing some of the top Grassroots players and teams go head to head so this years event will be one of the best in recent years!
The roster form can be found on the tournament site under "DOCUMENTS". Please download and fill in the event roster form then email your completed roster forms to swaaugbb@gmail.com. All teams must also have on hand throughout the tournament player age/grade verification in case of a protest. If you have any questions or need assistance, email swaaugbb@gmail.com. The events also features national media coverage, stop clock games & national level awards. The GNIT will have 3rd-9th grade divisions.

Jr. NBA Member 
The Jr. NBA is the official youth basketball participation program of the NBA. The Jr. NBA includes a free, membership-based program for existing youth basketball leagues/organizations. The membership is to help encourage and support youth basketball participation at the grassroots level and improve the overall youth basketball experience for all participants. The Jr. NBA aims to develop a lifelong passion for the game of basketball in boys and girls ages 6-14 by teaching them the fundamentals of the sport while instilling core values including teamwork, respect and sportsmanship.
