A McDonald’s All-American, ranked among the Top 10 players nationally in the Class of 2000, and a standout guard at DePaul University, Sawyer made his mark with electrifying playmaking and speed. His career also included the NBA Summer League and multiple successful seasons overseas. Come get the Rings!! General Information
The Imari Sawyer Windy City Classic will bring out the best teams from IL, IA, IN, MI, WI, and MN. This premier event features a Chi-Town standout. Statistically, Imari wound up as Illinois' #6 all-time leading scorer with 2,868 career points and set a state record with 1,072 assists. In his senior year of King high-school he averaged 32.2 points per game.
