A quick reminder as we prepare for the final day of the GBS Florida College Showcase tomorrow!

SUNDAY ARRIVAL & GAME TIMES

Doors Open: 9:00 AM
First 5v5 Games: 9:30 AM
3v3 Play Begins: 11:00 AM
Every player has one remaining 5v5 game tomorrow before we transition into 3v3 play.

Players scheduled for the first set of 5v5 games should be in the building when doors open at 9:00 AM, ready to warm up and prepare to play.

If you are scheduled for the second set of 5v5 games, please arrive no later than 9:45 AM.

HIGH SCHOOL WARM-UP — COURTS 5 & 6

High school players who are scheduled for the second set of games and are NOT playing in the first set will be allowed to warm up on Courts 5 & 6 while the first set of 5v5 games is being played on Courts 1, 2, 3 & 4.

Please take advantage of this time so you are warmed up and ready to play when your game begins.

BASKETBALL REMINDER

Three players had basketballs go missing today. Please do not take or leave with a basketball that does not belong to you.

If you accidentally picked up someone else's basketball today, please bring it back tomorrow so we can make sure it is returned to its owner before the conclusion of the showcase.

Basketballs are expensive, so please double-check yours and keep up with your basketball throughout the day.

After our remaining 5v5 games, 3v3 play begins at 11:00 AM.

Good evening GBS Families,

We are currently working on uploading and updating player stats, badges, evaluations, and other showcase results from this weekend.

To ensure you can see your information in the Athlete Rated app, there are a few IMPORTANT steps that every athlete needs to complete.

IMPORTANT: You Must Have an Athlete Rated Athlete Account
Players must have an active Athlete Rated account registered as an ATHLETE.

A Fan account will NOT work.

If the player is not an active/verified Athlete Rated player, some features—including stats, badges, roster access, and auto check-in—may not be available on the front end of the app.

STEP 1 — ACCEPT YOUR GBS ROSTER INVITE
All active players were sent a roster invitation from the showcase earlier today.

Log in to the player's Athlete Rated ATHLETE account.
Look at the bottom of the app and click the Notification Bell.
Find the GBS Showcase roster invitation.
Click the notification and select ACCEPT.
You MUST accept the roster invitation so that you are connected to the showcase roster.

STEP 2 — CHECK IN TO THE EVENT
After accepting your roster invitation:

Open the Side Menu.
Click on the GBS Showcase event.
On Friday night, you selected FOLLOW. You should now see the option to select CHECK-IN.
Click CHECK-IN.
You should receive a message stating that you have successfully auto-checked in.

If you are unable to auto-check in, this may mean that your Athlete Rated player account is not currently verified.

STEP 3 — VIEW YOUR STATS
Once you have accepted the roster invitation and your stats have been entered, they should become visible within approximately 12 hours.

Most players should begin seeing their stats tomorrow.

To view them:

Side Menu → Overall Stats → View Stats

Stats will continue to be updated throughout the day tomorrow as additional information is entered.

STEP 4 — VIEW YOUR SHOWCASE BADGES
To check for badges earned during the showcase:

Player Profile (top right) → Scroll to the bottom → Badges

Any badges you receive during the showcase will appear in this section of your player profile.

NEED HELP?
If you have completed the steps above and your stats are still not visible, check again around noon tomorrow.

We will be able to expedite and troubleshoot some accounts during the showcase tomorrow to make sure information is displaying properly.

Please understand that if a player does not accept the roster invitation and/or is not a verified Athlete Rated player, their stats and other information may not display properly on the front end of the app.

If problems continue to persist, we will also work with players and families at the conclusion of the showcase.

QUICK REMINDER – ALL PLAYERS

All players are required to bring their own basketball with them to the showcase.

Please make sure your name is clearly written on your basketball and that you keep track of it throughout the weekend. With a large number of athletes in the gym, each player is responsible for their own basketball and personal belongings.

We are officially 1 DAY AWAY from the GBS 2K26 Florida College Showcase!

We’re excited to welcome all of our athletes and families beginning Friday, August 7 for what we expect to be a great weekend of basketball, competition, development, and exposure.

Over the past several days, we have sent out a few important emails regarding the showcase. Please take a few minutes tonight to go back through those emails and make sure you have read them thoroughly. They contain important information regarding schedules, Athlete Rated requirements, check-in, and other event details.

Here are a few BIG reminders before you hit the road:

FRIDAY – CHECK-IN & PARK NIGHT
Doors Open: 6:30 PM
Park Night: 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Friday evening is your opportunity to get checked in, receive event information, and enjoy Park Night before competition begins Saturday.

If you are unable to attend Friday evening, late check-in will be available Saturday morning beginning at 8:30 AM.

TEAM ASSIGNMENTS
Athletes will receive their official team assignments on-site during check-in. Please do not be concerned if you have not received a team assignment in advance.

SPECTATOR ADMISSION

FRIDAY – PARK NIGHT
Admission is FREE for all spectators on Friday evening.

Weekend wristbands will also be available for purchase during Park Night:

• Adults Weekend Band – $35
• Youth Ages 6–12 Weekend Band – $25
• Children 5 & Under – FREE

Purchasing your weekend band Friday night will cover your admission for both Saturday and Sunday.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY DAILY ADMISSION
For those who do not purchase a weekend band:

• Adults – $20 per day
• Youth Ages 6–12 – $15 per day
• Children 5 & Under – FREE

NO CREDIT CARDS WILL BE ACCEPTED. Please plan accordingly before arriving at the facility.

Please make sure you have reviewed the previous Athlete Rated email and completed the required steps prior to arriving whenever possible.

If you attempted to complete verification and are still having an issue, we can assist you on-site during check-in. Please make sure you have access to the athlete’s required documents.

SATURDAY & SUNDAY EVENT INFORMATION
Please refer back to the previously sent event information and schedule for your athlete’s complete weekend details, including 5v5 games, 3v3 games, workouts, recruiting opportunities, and other showcase activities.

We have worked hard to put together a weekend that gives our athletes an opportunity to compete, develop, be evaluated, and enjoy the experience.

Most importantly, safe travels to everyone traveling into Winter Haven. Please give yourself plenty of time, travel safely, and arrive ready for a great weekend.

Athlete Rated will be used throughout the weekend for player verification, digital event credentials, event notifications, and player badges.

Every athlete participating this weekend must have an Athlete Rated account.

If you are already verified through Athlete Rated, you're all set. Your current verification remains active through August 31, 2026.

We are officially just 3 days away from the GBS 2K26 Florida College Showcase, and we couldn't be more excited to welcome you this weekend!

This email contains important event information that every athlete and parent should review before arriving. Please take a few minutes to carefully read through this email and the attached Event Packet. The packet includes your complete event schedule, including:

5v5 Game Schedule
3v3 Game Schedule
College Coaches Skills & Workout Sessions
Event Rules & Policies

Please note we will send the post the player teams and session in the gym and online on Friday. Staff will answer all questions pertaining to indivudal polayers and what time they play on site. Review the schedules carefully so you know exactly when your athlete should be in the building and what activities they should be participating in throughout the weekend.

Athlete Reminders
Every athlete should arrive prepared for a full weekend of basketball and exposure. Please make sure your athlete brings:

Their own basketball with their name clearly written on it
Water and/or sports drinks to stay hydrated
Any additional snacks they may need throughout the day
A third-party concession stand will also be available throughout the weekend.

Admission Information
Every athlete should have at least one adult attending with them throughout the event.

This is also the only opportunity to purchase discounted weekend admission wristbands.

Weekend wristbands must be purchased on Friday during Park Night after your athlete has completed check-in and received their uniform.

Compression Shirt Policy
To maintain a professional appearance throughout the showcase, all athletes must comply with our compression shirt policy.

Compression shirts worn during games must either be:

Plain (no logos or branding), or
Official GBS Compression Shirts.
Compression shirts displaying logos or branding such as Nike, MADE, MSHTV, or any other outside brand will not be permitted during competition.

Official GBS Compression Shirts will be available for purchase at the merchandise station for $30 each. (Friday & Saturday)

Friday Night – Park Night & Player Check-In
Friday | 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM

Every athlete is encouraged to attend Park Night.

Upon arrival, athletes will:

Complete a brief player orientation (approximately 10 minutes)
Receive their event uniform
Receive important event information
Enjoy open gym play, music and conversing and playing with other athletes
Once check-in is complete, courts will be open for:

1v1
2v2
3v3
5v5 Open Runs
This is a great opportunity to meet other players, compete, and get comfortable before showcase play begins on Saturday.

Athletes unable to attend Friday must report by 8:30 AM Saturday for Late Player Check-In before participating in any activities.

Athlete Rated Requirement

Once your information has been submitted, our media team will create your Official GBS "Committed" Player Graphic and feature you on our social media platforms leading up to the event.

Photo Requirements
Please upload a photo that meets the following guidelines:

Basketball-related photo only
Front-facing whenever possible
High-resolution image
Wearing a team uniform is preferred
No selfies, filters, or casual photos
Please make sure every required field is completed. Incomplete submissions may delay your player graphic.


Complete the Player Waiver
After submitting your Player Information Form, please complete the required Player Waiver. Your registration is not considered complete until both the player information form and waiver have been submitted.

Below is our current event schedule. While minor adjustments may be made, this should help you begin planning your weekend.

Friday, August 7 – Player Check-In & Park Night 6:30 PM – 9:00 PM
Player Check-In opens at 6:30 PM.
Players must arrive by 8:30 PM if checking in on Friday.
If you cannot attend Friday evening, you must complete Late Check-In at 8:30 AM on Saturday.
Stay and enjoy Park Night while meeting other athletes.

Saturday, August 8 – Showcase Day One 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM
8:30 AM – 9:30 AM Courts open for players who would like to get shots up and warm up on their own.
9:30 AM – 11:00 AM (Optional) College Coach-Led Skills & Drill Circuit
11:00 AM – 11:30 AM (Optional) Parent Recruiting Meeting led by collegiate coaches.
11:00 AM – 5:00 PM 5v5 and 3v3 Showcase Games
Players are only required to attend their scheduled 5v5 and 3v3 games, although we highly encourage everyone to participate in the optional college coach sessions and parent recruiting meeting.

Sunday, August 9 – Showcase Day Two 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
8:30 AM – 9:00 AM Courts open for warm-ups.
9:00 AM – 1:00 PM Showcase Games

Event Wrap-Up

Registration Deadline
The official registration deadline is Saturday, August 1st.

While many athletes have already secured their spot, registration is still open and no invitation is required to participate.

If you know another player who would benefit from competing in front of college coaches and gaining valuable exposure, please encourage them to register as soon as possible. Limited spots remain, and we expect the showcase to reach capacity before the deadline.
