2025 Crossroads Clash - Winter Classic

Basketball community,

Your outpouring support for the Jankoviak family, whom many of you do not know, is such a strong testament of our community and what drives us as children of God. It is more than a sport. We have had over 600 people give financially and have raised over $75,000! This pales in comparison to the loss they are grieving, but will undoubtedly help the next steps of their new future.

Families - it is with a heavy heart that we share Johnny has passed away. While we grieve on earth, we can be reassured that he is rejoicing in heaven with his earthly and heavenly father.

Families - some of you have heard that there was a tragic accident yesterday. While a father and son were traveling to their game Saturday morning, they were involved in an accident in northern Indiana. The father, Christopher Jankoviak, died on the scene. His son Johnny was flown to a hospital and is currently on life support in critical condition.

Many of us gathered yesterday morning to pray for the Jankoviak family and MCAC community. Johnny is still in very dire conditions on life support. There was some brain activity detected, but additional tests overnight were unable to be performed because of his instability. The doctors are saying he will not be walking out of the hospital short of a miracle.

We know our God is in the business of doing miracles so I ask you to join in praying that he will choose to do one here. Even if he doesn't, we know that Jesus is on the throne in heaven and that he has overcome sin and death. Christopher is seeing that first hand, so our prayers are for healing and a miracle for Johnny, which we know God can do.

Communication will all be done through the website. Pass along this information to your teams so families can follow their team and sign up for email and text notifications for any updates. You can sign up for notifications by navigating to the Teams menu, selecting your team, then filling out the information under Notifications.

Tournament Website

Doors will open at 7:30am each day. This is at both PAC and Mojo on Friday and PAC on Saturday.

Please park in designated parking spaces. Specifically at PAC, do NOT park in the grass or fire lanes or your vehicle will be towed. If both lots in front of the PAC are full, please utilize Lot G just to the west.

Brackets can be found online by selecting your age group and scrolling to the very bottom. Select the Gold or Silver bracket and click view to see the bracket schedule view. You can download the Exposure Events app or bookmark the page below in a browser and find the Crossroads Clash tournament for ease of navigation.

Admissionwill be collected at PAC only. All teams playing at Mojo during the day Friday will pay admission when they arrive at their game at PAC on Friday afternoon or Saturday.

There will be one price for the entire weekend.

8 and under - Free
9 and over - $20
Family in same household max - $60

You will be able to pay by cash or card (note a convenience fee is applied to credit card transactions).

Game rules are attached. These will be placed at the score table for each court. The top team is Home and will provide a game ball, official scorebook, and pre-game prayer. The bottom team is Visitor and will provide the scoreboard operator.

An athletic trainer will be accessible at each site on Friday and Saturday.

Clash Participants - sending out a quick note that a few games and matchups changed. Specifically please check your games times and divisions in the following divisions:

18U boys
18U girls
12U boys

We needed to make changes due to player injury and availability. This resulted in a few teams moving within the brackets so we could keep as many unique matchups in the early rounds as possible.

Pool play tie breaker details can be found on the Info tab of the home page.

Pool play seeding will be determined by the following order:
1. Head to head record
2. Point differential (20 point max)
3. Points allowed

Admission information will be coming out soon. Cash and card will be accepted at the door.

Reminder your parents and players can sign up for updates and notifications by clicking your team under the Team tab and then filling out the requested information in the Notification section near the top of the page.
