Congrats to all remaining teams competing for the 2026 AAU Boys' World Championships.

1. Awards Locations
Awards will be presented in the Advent Health Arena (Courts 13-18). Walk in the building and follow the pathway to the Northeast Pavillion. If your teams places, you will be given an awards slip at the conclusion of your game to take to the awards area.

2. Schedule Updates
Please continuously review the schedule in the AAU Basketball app or AAU Basketball website online today. The schedule will be updated in live time.

3. NO FIGHTING
This event has a Zero Tolerance fighting policy. Punishments will be severe in nature for actions deemed as fighting.

4. Rosters
All rosters are locked. No write-ins, No changes and No additions

5. Tournament Gift Bag
Please go to tournament office in State Farm Fieldhouse off of court 4. It is located in hallway off of court 4. Don't leave without your t-shirt for your team.

AAU Tournament Office is located on the main floor off of court 4 (right side when entering the building). Walk down the hallway to Classroom 1.

All team media will be treated as a coach on your roster.

This person must purchase an AAU Non-Athlete Membership (Purchase here) to recieve a coach’s credential. This will give them floor access to cover your team. If there are no spots open on your roster this person must proceed as a spectator and purchase a ticket meaning they will not have floor access.

Max of 4 coaches per roster.

Team Media is only allowed to cover your team not any other team.

Repost or Collabs
If you want your team content to be reposted or accept collabs you must use the AAU World Championship watermark. (attached). Team logo or media business branding can be included as well.

If your first game is at Game Point Event Center you still need to come to Disney ESPN to pick up your credentials to get into the complex.

- Overview of rules and regulations with confirmation signature
- Review eligibility material interview w/ EACH Athlete
- Recieve Coaches band (must wear all weeked to sit on the bench)

Meet Disney Staff
- Submit Youth and Adult Waivers and receive Disney Coach & Player credentials to enter the complex.

Coaches & Directors,

All COACHES and ALL PLAYERS on your roster must have an AAU Membership to participate! We allow a max of 15 Players and 4 Coaches per roster.

Roster Links have been sent to the primary contact of your team. Please check your email to complete if you haven't already.

Deadline for all roster is Tuesday, June 30, 2026 at 11:59pm est.

Roster must include:
- First and Last Name
- Jersey Number
- AAU ID Number

Please input AAU membership numbers into roster on Exposure to pre-verify athletes/coaches.

Next, please include the JERSEY NUMBERS FOR ALL PLAYERS. This is imperative, as we will be pre-printing score sheets before every game. Rosters will lock after your first game. If jersey numbers are incorrect to start the game, one technically foul shot may be accessed for every incorrect number.

Cross Boundary Athlete
All players must be from either the same state/district or adjoining state/district to participate on the same team.

Recruiting from all over the country/internationally to play on the same team is prohibited in the AAU World Championships.

Roster Participation Restrictions
a. Only males may participate as players for grades 13U/7th grade and up.

b. Females may participate as players on Boys’ teams from 7U/1st to 12U/6th Grade.

c. An athlete must play with one (1) team within one (1) age/grade skill level at any World Championship event when those Championship competitions take place at the same date and time (i.e., An athlete playing on a 10u/4th Grade D2 team cannot compete on a 10u/4th Grade D1 team at the same World Championship).

d. Athletes that competes in more than one age/grade division must compete with the same club.

e. Athletes must participate in the state/district of their residence, or an adjoining state/district, or as otherwise permitted by the AAU Code.

f. May 1st will be the date used to determine a player’s residence in a state

2026 AAU Boys' Basketball Eligibility Requirements

AAU Boys' World Championships uses age/grade-based competition rules.

Athlete must meet either the age portion or the grade portion of the rule.

​Ex. 12U/6TH GRADE

-Age Policy: An athlete can be no older than 12 on or before August 31, 2026.

-Grade Policy: An athlete who is in the 6th Grade as of October 1, 2025 and who is no older than 13 on or before August 31, 2026 is eligible to compete in the 12U/6th Grade division.

Here is a general layout of the schedule for the 2026 Boys' World Championship for 7u/1st - 13u/7th.

Please refer to these dates and times to plan your travel accordingly. Best advice is to arrive July 5th and depart late night July 9 or early July 10th.

EVERY TEAM PLAYS 1st GAME ON THE JULY 6TH.

4 Game Guarantee
- Sunday (7/5) - 12pm - 8pm EST. - Early Registration (OPTIONAL) but suggested.

- Monday (7/6) - 6am EST. - Registration (MANDATORY) arrive two hours before your scheduled gametime

ALL COACHES AND PLAYERS REQUIRED TO COME.

- Monday (7/6) - 8am - 8:50pm EST. - ALL Game Play Starts - Everyone plays first pool play game

- Tuesday (7/7) - 8am - 8:50pm EST - Pool Play

- Wednesday (7/8) - 8am - 8:50pm EST. - Pool / Bracket Play

- Thursday (7/9) - 8am - 6:30pm EST. - Bracket Play / Awards Games

ALL games and awards should conclude by 7pm.
Game times are subjective to slight change but very accurate
