General Information

3v3 Basketball League Rules & Format:

• Game Format: Half-court 3v3, no make-it-take-it—teams alternate possessions like standard play.
• Win Conditions:
• 4th–7th grade: First to 50 or leading team after 35 minutes wins.
• 2nd–3rd grade: First to 35 or leader after 35 minutes wins.
• Overtime = Free throw shootout.
• Game Details:
• 2 timeouts per half (30 seconds each), clock runs.
• Halftime at the 17-minute mark (clock stops).
• Rebounds must be cleared past the 3-point line (all ages).
• Steals/air balls do not require clearing.
• Clock only stops at halftime and final minute of the game.
• Fouls:
• No player fouls out.
• Bonus at 5 fouls = 1 shot free throw + ball back.
• Fouled on a 3-point attempt = 1 free throw worth 3 points.
• Fouled on a 2-point attempt = 1 free throw worth 2 points.
• Under 2 mins: 2 fouls = 2 free throws.
• Flagrant fouls = automatic point.
