Good evening, I hope your weekend has started off blessed. Thank you to everyone who came out for the Grassroots Tourneys NKY Norse Classic and for your patience in my post event communication. Good evening, After talking with everyone throughout the day and getting confirmations from everyone one way or the other, I believe the schedule should be final. I appreciate everyone patience through the process and your understanding that we are just trying to hit the curveballs thrown at us. There were a couple adjustments made. Good morning, I hope everyone's start to the weekend has been blessed. I wanted to reach out as I have fielded multiple questions this morning about the winter storm and the tournament. I do not foresee the event being cancelled, however there are always curveballs that are thrown at us last minute.

I have made a couple slight changes to the schedule already. Please click here to review those adjustments. In addition, please check the app this evening and again first thing in the morning to see any further scheduling adjustments due to weather conflicts.

All games will be played at the NKU Rec Center. The Rec Center is placed between the NKU Baseball Field and the NKU Softball fields. The address for the facility is as follows:

Highland Heights, KY 41076


Additional Key Notes:
✅ The parking garage on the side (East) of the facility will be open for free parking.
✅ The facility will not open until 12:05 for game entry.
✅ Bring your own balls. We will not have ball provided for this event.

Thank you for joining us on the court during the Winter 2025-2026 tourney season. We are excited to get the kids on the court this Sunday.

Everyone should expect to play a minimum of two games on Sunday, with two teams getting a possible third. Those teams showing no pool play or one pool play game will play their first round of bracket play immediately. Please be sure to check the brackets for your potential times for your second game
Please check until Friday night for schedule changes.


TEAM/COACHES CHECKIN
Registration will be at your first game you will not be able to get in if you go to a different site first. We ask that each team bring a printed roster with jersey numbers. This will help us include names on Event All-Tournament Teams.

Each team will receive 2 Bands (2 Coaches bands). Scorekeepers are provided by Grassroots Tourneys.

EVENT MEDIA COVERAGE
Following each game, we ask for coaches to sign the score sheet to verify the score is correct. In addition, we ask that each coach nominate a player from the opposing team for Division All-Stars. In addition, following your win in Bracket play, we ask that the team and coaches come to the Event Bracket Boards to advance your team on the boards.

We will have a videographer/photographer on sight taking photos and making short reels for everyones review. These can be found in the evening on Sunday and throughout the upcoming week on our social media accounts listed below:

UNIFORMS
1st listed team (Home): Light uniforms - Top in bracket play
2nd listed team (Away): Dark uniforms - Bottom in bracket play


STANDINGS
Standings can be found on the grassroots tourneys app. Click here to find the app. Please give 15 minutes following your game for the scores to be entered and the app to update. Here are the tiebreakers:
* Record
* Head-to-head
* Point differential
* Points allowed
* Points scored


GAME ENTRANCE PROTOCOLS
Daily - $10 Adults
Students/Seniors - $5
7 and under - Free
* Normal one day entrance during winter sessions at most events during a multi-day event is $5 or more, this tournament is the whole event in one day. In some cases saving you money if you play on more than two days for a multi-day tourney.

Good morning, I hope everyone is doing well. I have finalizing the divisions and mapping out the schedule. I plan to have the schedule out no later than 8:00pm this evening. All games will take place on Sunday between 11:00am and conclude by 6:00pm.
