TXBA Eagle Invitational TCG 8B Spring Gold

Good evening,

Thanks for coming out to play this weekend. We are looking forward to an awesome weekend of basketball.

The ASC let me know today that there are some traffic and parking issues due to some construction in the area, so if you play there please check out the message attached.

If you have games at Southwestern, feel free to bring a chair as there is limited seating available on some courts. Please keep your chairs on carpeted areas.
Please double check your venue as there were some adjustments on Tuesday.

Please remind parents that doors open no earlier than 30 minutes before the first game at the venue and that admission is $20/day for adults and $5/day for K-12 students (Venmo or cash only).

Rules are attached to the schedule message on the TXBA app. Thanks for making sure games stay fair and sportsmanlike for everyone.

Thanks for coming out to play the TXBA Eagle Invitational in Cedar Park & Georgetown. If you haven't already downloaded the TXBA app, it is the most efficient way to get all schedule updates and event messages.

Please make sure your parents know there is a fee for spectators:
$20/day/adults and $5/day/K-12 students (cash and Venmo accepted, no cards)

Take note of the sportsmanship rules and serious consequences for any type of violence. Physical and/or verbal violence will result in a full team disqualification from the event without any refunds for spectators or the team. Additionally, any form of violence, including threats, could result in the team being banned from future TXBA events. If a parent enters the courts without prior permission from the officials, the game will be suspended at the point of interrruption. No adult should make physical contact with someone else's child without permission. Help us keep this a safe event for everyone.

Please communicate with parents that gyms will not open more than 30 minutes before the first game time, so please don't arrive earlier. On Saturday, games start at 8am at Wagner MS, 12pm at the ASC in CP, and at 2pm at Tippit MS.

All standings are decided by win/loss record, head to head, and point differential of opponents in a tie. Site Directors will hand out medals for 1st and 2nd after all games in the division are finished and the standings have updated online.

Please know I tried my absolute best to accommodate all schedule requests entered when registering; however, there is very limited sym space this weekend. It will not be possible for me to change the schedule for late requests. Keep in mind there is a music festival in Georgetown this weekend, so allow time for extra traffic. Also there is limited seating in the Aux gym at Tippit, so feel free to bring your own chair if you'd like to ensure having a seat.

Also, players must be approved in advance to play on multiple teams in the event. Rules are attached and posted under messages for the event. Please make every effort to keep this a fair and positive environment for the kids to enjoy the sport they love.
