TXBA Code of Conduct
The TXBA Event Code of Conduct promotes a safe, inclusive, and respectful environment for kids and adults.
1.All coaches, athletes, parents, and spectators must comply with all aspects of this code as well as all tournament rules.
2.The Head Coach will be held responsible for the actions of his/her athletes, coaches, parents, families, and fans.
3.Everyone agrees to treat tournament staff, referees, and volunteer score and book keepers with respect.
4.Harassment, discrimination, and inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.
This includes hate language, threats, deliberate intimidation,
unwelcome physical contact, and any type of physical violence. If anyone engages in disruptive and inappropriate behavior, organizers will take appropriate action, which may include expulsion from the event without a refund.
If anyone refuses to leave the premises when directed, the team they are associated with will forfeit the game current game, and the team could be expelled from the event without any refunds to the team or spectators.
Any physical violence will result in immediate ejection from the event, and TXBA reserves the right to disqualify the team for the remainder of the event without any refunds.
If a physical altercation occurs, then the game will be suspended at the point of interruption, and those involved will be expelled from the premises. The director reserves the right to disqualify the team(s) from the event, as well as all future TXBA events.
If any parent enters the court without permission from the officials, then the team will be disqualified for the remainder of the event without refunds.
Any adult who makes physical contact with someone else’s child without permission will be banned from all TXBA events.
By participating and attending, you agree to adhere to this code of conduct and accept the consequences listed and enforced by staff.
