Amerisports Youth Basketball Showdown Join us for the Amerisports Youth Basketball Showdown, a premier basketball tournament featuring competitive play for 2nd Grade - 9th Grade Boys and Girls. With a 3-game guarantee, games are played with running clock halves and rules tailored to each grade level. Expect high-energy matchups, a positive atmosphere, and an emphasis on sportsmanship. Admission is $15/day for adults, $5/day for kids, or $25 for a weekend pass. Teams compete for top seeding through pool play and thrilling tie-breakers. Don’t miss the action-packed weekend at Rockwall’s state-of-the-art 12-court facility!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION
3-Game Guarantee for all teams
Pool Play followed by a Single-Elimination Bracket
Schedules will be released Thursday at 6:00 PM during tournament week via Exposure.
No schedule changes will be accepted once schedules are published.
Download and refresh the Exposure App throughout the weekend for real-time updates.
 
ROSTERS & PLAYER ELIGIBILITY
All coaches are responsible for roster compliance before Game 1.

Coaches must send team invitations to all players through Bondsports.co.
Teams without a completed roster before their first game may be subject to a forfeit.
If a roster is not completed online, it must be submitted at check-in before Game 1.
Player Requirements
Players may only play on one team per division within the same organization.

Every player must have either:

A valid AmeriSports Player Card ($10 annually) OR
A Birth Certificate and Current Report Card
Grade & Age Eligibility
Eligibility is based on both grade and age as of August 15, 2025.

Exception: Female players in 2nd-5th grade may play down in the boys division only.

 
PLAYER PROTEST POLICY
All protests must be submitted before the game begins.
If a protested player arrives late, the protest may begin immediately upon arrival.
Teams have 10 minutes to provide documentation.
Failure to provide documentation will result in player removal.
 
GAME RULES
Game Length
2nd-5th Grade: 2 x 15-minute halves
6th-8th Grade: 2 x 16-minute halves
9th-HS: 2 x 18-minute halves
HS Championship: 2 x 20-minute halves
Additional Rules
Running clock
Clock stops during the final 2 minutes of the second half and all timeouts
Warm-Up: 3 minutes
Halftime: 2 minutes
Timeouts & Overtime
2 x 30-second timeouts
1 x 60-second timeout
OT 1: 2 minutes + 1 timeout
OT 2: Sudden death

Home Team: Light jerseys
Visitor Team: Dark jerseys
 
SPECIAL RULES
No full-court press in 2nd Grade
No pressing with a 20+ point lead (3rd-5th Grade only)
5 fouls = Disqualification
Bonus begins at 7 team fouls
Team fouls reset at halftime
 
SPORTSMANSHIP
Zero Tolerance Policy

Fighting = Immediate removal and tournament ban
Disruptive behavior = Immediate ejection without refund
